I went here in August and sat out on the patio. The patio is right on the square in downtown, a fun place to sit and people watch. I tried several of their own brewed beers, and some appetizers. Everything was great! The owner came out and spoke to our table, and said they were brewing some new beers and changing the menu… we had great service and everyone was very friendly. I really like the beer flights and the different selections of beers. You can tell the owner takes pride in his beer and brewing process. The servers were very attentive, and really cared! Great patio, loved the apps and the beers… a really fun spot in the summer.

My recent dining experience at The Cheyenne Brewing Company was extremely disappointing. Something changed from now and about a month ago. I don’t know if management changed or something, but the difference was huge. HUGE. So, I chose the make your own nachos options, right? I subbed the nachos for fries and added spicy pico, lettuce, refried beans, guacamole, onions, and bell peppers. I was not aware just how much I was being charged for each menu item. $ 1.00 for each which left me with a bill of $ 23.00. That’s not cool. Not for some nachos and one beer. So, yeah. The price sucked and I felt tricked, but wait! There’s more! The fries had zero flavor. Zero. Blew my mind that something could be so bland. The beans were straight out of a can, which would’ve been okay, but these beans were straight-up Great Value brand. They tasted awful and weren’t even warm. Them not being warm I can blame on them having to re-make the dish because the previous one had cheese(I can’t eat dairy, and yes I specified). Finally, the guacamole… without a doubt, the worst guacamole I’ve ever had in my life. It was absolutely drenched in fake lemon juice. My friends ordered burgers that were barely bigger than sliders, on oversized bread, that had no flavor. We were all very unhappy with everything except the beer and the service. Props to the gracious host and servers. Not their fault the food was so terrible. Sadly, we most likely will not be going go back.

The food was ok(not spectacular) but the service was awful. Our server checked on us several times while we were waiting for one of our friends to arrive but after he showed up our server seemed to have abandoned us. When she finally did take our order we waited nearly an hour for the food to arrive.

So the business is going through an adjustment period, and the menu is a little confusing to read. So the beer is actually pretty good, I had the blackbeard chocolate stout. Service was great considering that we were the only table of six. This was on a Saturday afternoon. Overall the burgers are nice.

The building’s exterior looks great and is intriguing; the interior not so much. Went here looking for wings and they no longer serve them :-(. The bartender said they phased them out. I told him the wings had good reviews on Unilocal. His response, «Really?». After perusing the limited menu(consisting of build your own nachos) and one round, our party decided to leave. Word of advice: BRINGBACKTHEWINGS!

So, I decided to come by again with a friend for a quick drink. They were out of a couple of beers, but Sean, our bartender, was very accommodating, quick, and attentive to us. He made an impression on us. I think I will be back, but hopefully he’s bar tending cause he made this place a whole better experience!

The Cheyenne Brewing Company used to be a go to place for me. Recently they have made some changes with a split/buyout of Ownership, if you like a good craft brew, this is still the place in town, in my opinion. However what was an above average restaurant is no longer. If you are looking for a place to eat lunch or dinner you will want to pass. They have changed there menu as well as their philosophy under the new management. They now want to be a craft Brewer that serves bar food, not a full service restaurant. Their menu consists of variety of nachos and chicken wings. I will return for the beer /happy hour, but obviously this is no longer the place for a meal.

Thia place has some pretty bad service. The servers are nice but slow!!! If you put in an app order don’t expect it any time soon took 20+ min to get ours. Half the time they are«brewing» the beer you ask for, so if you come don’t have your heart set on a specific especially one thats theirs. Crazy huh? I thought this was a brewery? About the food… All the beer battered apps taste the same, its just not worth it! Overall this place has poor service and food is mediocre. So far we’ve only found 1 app that we like… Their bang bang shrimp… For all considering this place its worth a shot… Hopefully you get better/quicker service.

Our group was large and service was still good. The regular burger and sweet potato fries that I had were excellent. No complaints on the fish tacos and fries of my companion’s. All the others liked their food. Everyone was impressed with the gorgeous presentation of the dishes, too. Overall, high marks!

Finally got the right owners in this establishment. Over the years it has changed hands a few times. Great food and service at the cheyenne brewing company. They had a limited menu for frontier days when i tried the restaurant. I had the miss piggy which was a bacon cheeseburger. Had great flavor and was a little juicy. The fries were in a little fry basket which made presentation of food even better. Plan on going back to try regular menu.

This was a nice little place that was built into the old train depot next to the depot museum. the food options were not plentiful, but what they had was good and was well prepared. The waitress was friendly and the service was quick. If you want a good quick lunch, this place hits the spot.

The food is not bad and I like the beer, the service blooooooows! Been there four or five times now and all three things have been steady. I think the biggest problem I have had with the food is they don’t always put everything on the dish that they advertise in the menu. Example: salad with out the croûton. Not the worst thing in the world. The service is super slow. The waitresses all flock together in large groups and talk or play while you’ve asked for things that aren’t coming. Had the bartender one night greet talk to me and then ignore me for 5 – 10 minutes. Served other people drinks that got there after me. FYI I was sitting where the bar taps are. I rated this place as high as I did because I do like the beer, the food is not bad. The staff is nicer a all, just not organized at all. I felt ignored and like my patronage didn’t matter.

I was trying to give this place a second chance, after I went for the soft opening and had the choice of a hot dog or burger. The expanded menu was better, but after waiting 45 minutes for a salad and a burger and having 3 ingredients missing from my salad, I will not be returning. Unfortunate, we need some good restaurants in Cheyenne.

I have visited these guys thrice, once during their soft opening and twice since the grand opening. As a craft beer guy, I was very hopeful about a new micro brewery in Cheyenne. My first visit disappointed me. I had a flight of in house beers, they weren’t matured yet and didn’t taste very good. I also had their wings, which I did enjoy. Crunchy breading and tastey sauce. I have gone back now twice, once just for beer and once for beer and lunch. Their beer had greatly improved with time, very good. I especially enjoyed the Chocolate Porter. I had a jalapeño popper burger, which came with a good jalapeño, cheddar cream cheese and bacon. The Burger was thick and good, I couldn’t even finish it, so much meat! The service was also good, friendly and attentive. They also have a good selection of other microbrews, which is mice if you wanna sample other beers. I will go back for sure!

I must remember I m a New Yorker when I am experiencing the laid back environment of Colorado and Wyoming. So less stressful here. No I have no intention to move here. Ordered the wing mmmmmm finger licking good. The beer batter is very unsual whith a gritty texture which only adds to the tastefulness of the wings. Mmmmm devious Service is really good.

This place is closed as os Dec 2015. Decent beer, I like three out of the five and the menu is priced well! Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Beers served in plastic cups while water and sodas in tables nearby all came in pint glasses made of glass seems like a good place to start this review. Such a mistake I made not checking the reviews on this place prior to visiting. We(two adults and two small kids) were in the wrong place at the wrong time, our four year old said he was hungry, and we saw«brewery,» on the sign. We ordered 12 wings as an appetizer, a blue cheese and bacon burger, two beers, and one cheeseburger sliders kids meal. Our waitress asked if we wanted the wings out first, and my husband said yes. About 30 minutes later, our waitress appeared with our wings and the kids meal and said, «you ordered a burger too, right?» She then returned several minutes later to tell us the«burger wasn’t put through, but now the kitchen was going to make it in a flash.» My husband asked for more napkins since we were eating 12 wings and had one napkin each. She brought those about 20 minutes later. When she brought out the burger, the bacon was barely cooked, dripping with oil, and slimy. After discussing it with my husband, I decided to complain, something I probably wouldn’t have done had the burger shown up like this without our waitress having told us the kitchen was going to rush our meal because she forgot to put in our order correctly. So, I tell our waitress it appears that in the kitchen’s rush to make our burger, they didn’t cook the bacon long enough. She offers to fix it and takes the whole plate with her, burger and fries. Ten minutes later, she returns with a plate of bacon and says, «here’s your bacon, but I don’t actually have your burger.» So then she shows up with the burger 5 minutes later. It still had the soggy, limp bacon on it and had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for 15 minutes. We ate less than half of it, and she actually showed up and asked if we wanted a box like she was rushing us out of our seat at that point. She also asked if she could take some of our plates, and when I said yes, she said, «actually let me go set these menus down first.» As far as food quality, the kids meal was decent, two small burgers, a side of sweet potato fries and mandarin oranges from a can(the menu said orange wedges, so that wording could use some work). The wings were thickly breaded which seemed odd to me, but the buffalo sauce was good. The burgers look good, but mine was so dry and yet greasy on the outside from the limp bacon/heat lamp combo. Please serve your beers in glass. You are not a college bar serving cheap beer. You are a brewery with many beers from great breweries on tap. Show them the respect they deserve by serving their beers in glass. Finally, your restaurant is in an awesome building in the heart I downtown. Take advantage of that!

Decent selection of beer and good environment. Bartenders are very helpful as well. They only have 3 or 4 of their own brews, however stock up on other good breweries; New Belgium, Odell, Alaskan… etc. Food is very good from what I had. CBC beer brat with mustard and sautéed onion. Along with amazing sweet potato fries complemented with a cup of cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter mix. Delish

I recently went here early on a slow weeknight evening with a group of about 10 people. I agree with the other reviews that there was a mildly foul odor present. The restaurant is in a great venue, but is clearly not capitalizing on this. The floors appeared to be dirty even though it was early in the evening and upon visiting the restroom, I found a significant amount of hair in the sink as if someone had just shaved their beard and left it in the sink. The menu is extraordinarily small, which is usually ok if what they focus on is delicious. This was not the case. Our waiter was friendly, but quickly became overwhelmed. After ordering beers, we placed two orders for chicken wings. These didn’t show up for at least 30 minutes and after two prompts to the waiter. The wings that came out were an affront to the human palate. Clearly frozen and thawed quickly in a fryer, they were not cooked to an appropriate level. Additionally, they were oddly shaped for chicken wings, looking more like Tyson nuggets from the frozen section at Walmart. I passed on the wings, but some bravely chose to try them and exposed pink meat. We addressed the issue with the manager/owner and he apologized and didn’t charge us for them. The burger entrees finally arrived and were clearly frozen patties. The patty was extremely dry and crumbled away easily with hints of freezer burn. I believed they might have tried to compensate for this by placing an insane amount of cheese on top of the burger. One of the burgers had at least a half pound of melted cheese on top; the kind that you would buy at Walmart in a bag for family Taco night. My burger had a bleu cheese cream mound on it, which was far too much, even if the burger had been better. The fries were soggy and again seemed like they had been frozen. They paired the sweet potato fries with a strange french toast-like dipping sauce with flavors of cinnamon and sugar. This was an odd pairing and one that was not enjoyable. The wait staff looked consistently confused and helpless trying to determine who had ordered what. This is alarming because the restaurant was less than 50% filled. The manager/owner came by to profusely apologize and is a very nice gentleman, but his dress and appearance was not conducive to his position. A Dirty t-shirt & baggy jeans is perhaps acceptable for a bar back but not management. The beers he brewed on site were enjoyable, especially the jalapeño beer. His amicable demeanor and enjoyable craft beer were the only strong points. This venue has tremendous upside and a friendly, albeit incompetent staff, but they need major help. A Gordon Ramsay makeover would perhaps be in order as their food is bland and borderline disgusting coupled with a staff that appears to have no experience in the restaurant business. If you go, go for Beers and leave after your drinks.

Awesome brews, great food as well! The beer battered mozzarella sticks are legit! The burgers are excellent as well — great portions and fresh flavors. Self-brewed beer selection could have been a bit larger(they only had 4 — 3 of which were IPAs) but I understand they just opened. Hope these guys can keep expanding their menu and beer selection in the future.
