Patanee’s Alterations

She will spank you with a ruler if you forget to bring in you receipt! (weird)
She hemmed curtains & sheers for me, The curtains were fine. I had taken the curtains& sheers in and she gave me the price on them, then complained in English and? when I paid what was on the receipt. She said the sheers were hard to do! Evidently the were, because they were all different lengths and a DAY late!
I will not be back!

I read Brandon’s review and decided to give this place a shot and he was completely on the money about Pätänée’s alterations! She’s extremely friendly and hilarious. She got my hubby’s uniform ready to wear (stripes, name tapes & elastics in the pants) within 24 hours which would NEVER happen on base (sorry AAFES)! I’ve found my new alterations shop.

I went to this lady for my bridal gown alterations, and was incredibly unhappy with her craftsmanship, as well as her customer service. My dress was a lace, sheath-​fitting gown in which I needed taken in around the chest and bodice. When I first went in for my fitting, I was in and out of her shop in about five minutes. I should have expressed my concerns then, but felt reassured by her confidence that she could get the job done. I returned a week later to a dress that not only remained loose on me, but was ruined in regards to the lace overlay. She first told me it was my fault for losing weight (even if I had tried, how much could I have possibly lost in a week?). When I wouldn’t agree with her on that, she then proceeded to tell me that the fit was good, and that I wouldn’t want to make it any tighter [never mind the fact that with the right turn and angle, I was exposing my chest]. She and her assistant then added that I needed to get a padded bra to help fill the chest area. I finally pleaded my case enough, that she agreed to re-​work the alteration. She had me leave for an hour, only to return to a dress that wouldn’t even zip up! I had to take the dress on and off THREE MORE TIMES before it finally zipped. To top it all off, she asked that I pay her $ 50 more for her extra work!!! It was a terrible experience, and I will not be returning to her for any future business. It’s a shame that I entrusted her with such an important dress.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Patanee has saved my butt more than once over the years when I was in the military. There was I few times that I needed new stripes on uniforms ASAP or needed my dress blues altered ASAP because maybe 25 year old Brandon ate the 19 year old Brandon and they were a little snug and needed to be worn very soon. She will knock stuff out quick if you’re in a pinch, just make sure you leave her a decent tip for her doing stuff like that because she does have other stuff she has to do. The ladies in here are the funniest and nicest people. Highly recommended!
