The new management is wonderful! The prices are lower and negotiable. Everyone is treated great.

I voted for the SVdP over the Goodwill on politics and some experience that they usually have good stuff. Man– This was the most over priced thrift store I’ve ever been in. Yes, that is a vintage dress/​coffee pot/​/​craft box /​fabric and perhaps on Ebay or in a «boutique» would fetch $ 40÷30÷20÷10 (yes– these are actual corresponding prices) but not in a thrift store which is where I’m going to pick up the stuff that my and your Gramma cleaned out of her closet and just needs to move along. If you’re gonna put it on Ebay, do that. If you want to call it a «thrift store» it needs to be «thrifty.»
I declined paying $ 9 for a shirt or $ 45 for a dress. I would have paid a third of these prices.
I did pay $ 3 for a box of fondue forks. We did NOT get the new Corning wear percolator since it was unclear if it was one that had recall issues and $ 30 was too much to gamble on that. These are my personal price points. Perhaps yours are different?
Otherwise– very nice staff. Dressing room in back. LOTS to look at.
