A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I wandered into Finish Line to look around. With her birthday coming up, she saw a pair of Nike running shoes that she absolutely fell in love with. She let me know that those shoes are what she would like for her birthday. I went in a few days later to get them for her birthday and they were not on the wall. I asked where they might be and I was informed they were taken off of the walls due to them not being«released» yet. Clearly, I saw them on their display and they were for sale. I asked one of the associates for a store manager but told me nothing could be done upon coming out of the back room. On her actual birthday, I called and asked for a store manager where an employee rudely responded saying«no, I can help you». I explained my situation and let him know that I am trying to give them my business. After bantering about how it goes against their policy and they would get in trouble, I explained that they would have sold me the shoes a few days ago anyhow. This is false advertisement. I explained that he is losing my business and he did not seem to care what so ever. He said«If we lose your business, so be it». I understand this is a store policy, but I feel like nothing was done to reciprocate for the situation and the store manager did not want to speak to me face to face nor on the telephone. What little I asked was not delivered in any way. I feel like I have lost respect for this franchise and a bad experience with them. I’ll travel the extra distance to Dicks, Sports Authority or Foot Locker to at least get some competent employees who do not make mistakes on what needs to be stocked and inconvenience me further.

Clean and presentable. The staff is pretty cool but at times can be pretty persistent about you purchasing gym shoes. I tried to purchase some but the ones I wanted were not in stock. They tried to push another model onto me but I did not want them and I was kind of annoyed by their persistence.
