600 N Lake Shore is a condo building; but many of us rent units directly from owners. From a renter’s perspective, this place is a find. The rental cost per month is equivalent to most of the buildings in Streeterville. BUT, this is the newest, and one of the poshest buildings around. Gym, 24-hour doorman, business center, media rooms, convenience store with dry cleaner, and 2 roofs with gorgeous views of the lake and city are the top amenities offered. The tenants are mostly older couples. Not a lot of Northwestern grad students in this building. The feel of the building is quiet and people are friendly but respectful of each others privacy. Monthly parking cost is also equivalent to the other lots around.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Chicago, IL
This Belgravia development has been a challenge from the start with zoning reviews. local residents complaining about the shadows which would be cast onto their beach etc etc But I have to comment on Sean T’s comment that pricing for the 3BR was reasonable(this is not NYC). Those 3BR units range in price from $ 1.25M to $ 1.85M base. There are dozens of neighboring buildings with similar amenities views and finishes with a significantly lower price per square foot. That said, the building design and urban impact is quite a positive improvement to the area and one I would recommend as a consideration. 1BR and 2BR currently priced in the low $ 400’s and mid $ 500’s respectively. for more
