I was looking for a convenient store all night! I finally found 7 – 11 that opens for 24 hours. It saved my from starving all night. This 7 – 11 is different from every other 7 – 11 I visited in Chicago. It offers food from pizza to sandwiches to snacks. They even have jumba juice smoothies and other drinks. There is one section where people can buy souvenirs and alcohol. The side section when you walk in is full of sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruits in fridge and uncut fruits. In the back aisle, there are bunch of snacks and drinks. The convenient store is near bunch of hotels. The store is a great place for tourist and residents who live around this area to grab food at anytime!

If I’m craving something on the go, after school I stop here. I stop in every now and then, but when I do it’s to grab a hotdog, or pizza. For us students at Harold Washington this place is a life saver.

I get good service here. I am in here twice a day. Late at night they close for no reason. Maybe sleep? Still nice people. They deal with a lot of bullsh*t here. From theft to drunks I feel for them.

I come here almost everyday. Sometimes multiple times a day. These guys know me by name and know the cigarettes I prefer. They hook it up with donuts from time to time. Always got all my favorite energy drinks on hand, and one of the brands is always a 2 for $ 4 type of deal. These guys are really nice. I really want to give then five stars, but sometimes in the middle of the night/super early in the AM, their doors are locked. I hate to be a traitor of my regular 711, but I end up walking down the street to a different one. And the guys over there are open. And they dance.

Most people know that many of the 7 – 11 locations are run by Indians or Arabs and in the case of the ones located in downtown Chicago are run by Indians. This particular location is near Harold Washington College and the Trump Hotel. It’s a nice little spot it’s clean and well stocked with stuff, but seems to be attracting a lot of homeless to congregate around the store entrance. Other than that it’s a nice little place just some things are overpriced, but not bad. Don’t bother with parking because as most Chicagoans are aware parking is too high and not worth the price charged. This is a 7 – 11 for pedestrian traffic only.
