This salon is located in the Addison mall, and since I was in need of a manicure, and on my way to Target, I decided to stop in. I decided on a French manicure, and brought the ‘technician’ the bottles I wanted to use. She spent less than five minutes trimming my cuticles and buffing and filing my nails. When she did the tips of my nails, a she smeared polish on one, and on a few others, the free edge was jagged. No big deal, I figured the polish would cover it anyhow. There was only one problem– they got a little busy, and after 30 minutes under the heat lamp waiting for her to ‘finish’ my manicure, I finally had to call her over and ask when she planned on finishing me(much to her chagrin, since she had started working on a pedicure, and it was obvious that she had totally forgotten about me). That’s when she told me that I was ‘finished’, and that my ‘French manicure’ had been done. When I complained to the owner, she told me the same thing. Granted, I haven’t had a manicure in a while, but it’s been my experience that a manicure includes a base coat, color coat, top coat and finishing spray. So, I asked for a refund of $ 5, and ending up paying $ 10 for the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. So, if you’re ever in the Addison mall, and want to kill two birds with one stone… DON’T GOTHERE!
