This place used to be great! Professional, efficient and courteous — I would actually look forward to my visits. It seems it’s under new management now — and their mandate is to treat their patients as poorly as possible. I was there for 2 hours just trying to get my annual physical — total time someone attended to me was 4 minutes. Dr. Lynsey Stewart may well have been the worst physician I have ever encountered — terrible bedside manner and doesn’t have any interest in anything you have to say. I think this place is now just going to do testing for city and government contracts now — I saw a lot of pace employees waiting room. Good for them, since if they relied on actual paying patrons who are there by choice, they would go our of business. There are TONS of better options in a block radius — never again.

They changed doctors and somehow lost all evidence of me having been a patient of the doctor that ran off. It might be a front end administrative issue, but whatever it is, this place cannot be counted on for good medical care. The new MD, Lynsey Stewart is kind of nasty as well. Avoid.

I was referred here because of my knee problem. I had also been suffering from a shoulder/neck issue. I went to a chiropractor for a month and they couldn’t fix it. I got massages and it didn’t help. I even went to another physical therapist but they didn’t help either. What did help was four/five weeks of physical therapy with Steve. He was great. He knew exactly what the problem was as soon as I described it(which no other place had been able to do!). He was also able to show me what to do in order to fix it. I started feeling better within a couple weeks and I owe it all to Steve. Location was most convenient as I work in the loop and AOMS is located inside Presidential towers. However, the whole sign in process was a little cumbersome.

Though I had been to this clinic for physical therapy, I did not have a reason to go for a «medical» reason. Unfortunately, I had a very upset stomach for several days so Advanced Occ Med was able to squeeze me in today for a lunch appointment so I could find out what was wrong. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Stephen Hartsock. He was kind, friendly and made me feel totally at ease. He totally educated me on intestinal health, as I had inadvertently made my situation worse by using my own«health logic». I think he could tell by our conversation that I’m not into medicine, but prefer natural remedies. So, he suggested some simple things I could buy(fiber supplement, more fruits and veggies and probiotics) to help ease me back into normal health. So, I ran to the Vitamin Shoppe on the way home to pick up the remedies he suggested and viola! I’m feeling 100% better than my grave, mopey condition this morning! Another Advanced Occ Med success story! I’m so happy I went today and am feeling pretty silly for not going sooner! UGH! Maybe I can actually enjoy this weekend and leave the house!
