I had very high expectations when coming to his salon since he does hair and makeup for Univision yet he fails at all levels as a professional. He is always late for his appointments and rushes his appointments since he has a busy schedule and his priority is the Univision anchor hosts. He doesn’t apologize at all. An appointment may as well be 3 – 4 hours long since most of this time is waiting for him to arrive. I booked my appointment to get a balayage and he talked me out of it and did highlights. Trust me they do not look like a professional did them I can still see roots and there are parts where I don’t have highlights. Besides my highlights look like gray hair. I am afraid to even go back and ask him to fix it!

One of my bridesmaid made an appointment with them for a make up trial to come in on a Friday at 10am, so we go in on the date of our appointment, Alex opens the door for us cuz it was still locked, he greets us and we tell him we have an appointment for a make up trial the first thing he says is «for all 4 of you? Are you kidding?» So after that remark we decided just do the trial just for me, so now basically he is losing money. After waiting in the front area for 15 min we ask him how long will it take to see us since we have the appointment at 10, he said he doesn’t know cuz the make up Artis doesn’t come in til 11am, and we ask him why did we get scheduled at 10am then, he said he doesn’t know, he also doesn’t know who our appointment is with and they also don’t do make up trials on Fridays so he doesn’t know why they scheduled us for today. For being the owner of the salon he really doesn’t know much. So after him saying he doest know, he said we can wait for the make up Artis or we can wait for him but he has 5 other people in front of me, not caring that his employees messed up our appointment or that no one is there to take care of us, he did not once say he was sorry for the mix up, he was very unprofessional. I’m happy I didn’t waste my money or time with them, cause if this would have happened the day of my actual wedding it would of been a disaster.

alex is so popular with our communities… but beyond that he is artistic… bring yourself to him… he will transform you! he is a well known chicago celebrities
he does makeup classes, haircuts, haircolors
… obviously he will give you a great new makeover… and youll love it. you cant go wrong with him trust me
