andrew collings and two of his associates (brent and kate) photographed our june wedding at the peggy notebaert nature museum… they were wonderful to work with and made our bridal party feel at ease. overall, we were pleased with the photos but do feel there were some missed opportunities… our ceremony pictures are very one-​note and there aren’t any pictures of our guests in the butterfly haven or other exhibits. with that being said, we would still highly recommend this studio…

Before our wedding, we pre-​ordered 3 albums from Andrew, one for us and one for each set of parents. Andrew and Ann (the bookbinder) were able to get our parents’ albums together before Christmas, and they were the hit of the holidays! All of our parents were literally speechless when we gave them their albums, and Andrew did a fantastic job of customizing each album for our parents. We can’t wait to get our album soon!!!

If you are looking for a business head shot that’s not the standard boring «passport-​looking» mugshot, go see Andrew. His «15 minute Business Portrait «package was perfect. It was great price and excellent quality. I was in and out of his studio in 30 min and within days received my retouched digital file and I’m very pleased with the image. Andrew was a pleasure to work with — very friendly, and he made everything effortless … from taking the photo to receiving the files. His studio has a nice vibe and is steps away from the blue line Damen stop. I highly recommend Andrew Collings for head shots!

So I hired Andrew Collings in February of this year for my wedding this upcoming February (2010). My fiancée and I met with about 4 – 5 different photographers in the city and even in the ‘burbs, and I can tell you that he is by far the most flexible and reasonably priced wedding photographer. and with the absolute best portfolio! We just had our engagement pics with Andrew in October, and they were absolutely phenomenal! Andrew really made us feel super comfortable and, for lack of a better term, *not stupid* while we posed and jumped around and laughed for our photos. And I’ve never looked better in any pictures, EVER! He suggested fantastic locations for the shoot and him and his assistant were just so friendly and made the process really fun for both me and my fiancée. I am so grateful that I chose him for our photographer, and I seriously can’t wait for him to photograph my wedding!
Save yourself the trouble of looking at other photographers in the city, because he’s the best.

Andrew has a wonderful way of making you feel completely comfortable when he takes photos. I felt very much at ease with him; he’s extremely friendly, and he got me talking so that I barely gave any thought to the fact that I was taking pictures. In other words, there was no pressure, and that’s really nice. I was also really pleased with the photos – I feel like, in making me feel so at ease and ultimately having fun in our session together, he really captured my personality. I highly recommend Andrew Collings!

I was looking for a photographer last minute before Christmas to get a couple of really nice photos for a friend I met in Germany this past October and he was coming to visit for the holidays. I called Andrew and he was able to fit me in within days. I planned everything to be perfect for the night of the shoot and then the first snowstorm came. Andrew waited for me to get there and made me feel very comfortable right away. He got me through my awkwardness with the camera and he really takes the most beautiful pictures. He had them ready for me to pick from on the internet the very next day and within just a couple of days I had the prints and they looked fantastic! Bravo Andrew and thank you so much again for the experience. The pictures were a hit.
