Easily the best thin crust in the city… I eat a lot of pizza too. Wings are good to. Fast delivery, cool owners too, real good guys.

Wow! After trying to order delivery from other places in the neighborhood with no luck, saw Armand’s on Unilocal(forgot it was in the area) and excitedly ordered an Armand’s salad and meatball /hot giardiniera pizza. So so so good!!! Will definitely be ordering again from here soon or going in. Try the salad — it is the best!

Ordered from here a few times now, and maaaaaan, this place hits the spot for perfect thin crust pizza. Delivery has been consistently fast– like 35 minutes, piping hot delicious party fast. Ingredients are quality– supremely melty cheese, crust with crunch, tangy marinara. A bit more expensive than the usual thin crust in the area, but definitely worth it. Our favorite is the tomato and meatball. Yum city 5000.

So Armand’s is willing to support my community holiday event for people with mental illness within the Ukranian Village /Humboldt park area. I LOVE that this small restaurant has a BIG heart! Armand’s not only offers fantastic pizza but also great sandwiches. I also love that when I go there with my kids we can always get a table and the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommended for families. they will even switch over the channel on the TV to suit ages of kids.

Pizza mediocre and expensive, they also keep closing early. Just not a good neighborhood pizza place

The delivery took around two hours, showed up cold, and was missing an item. Yikes, get it together.

I cannot attest to the poor reviews in regards to delivery but my fiancé and I ordered take out from Armand’s last week and I were both so pleasantly surprised. We thought the thin crust was amazing with crispy crust and was super cheesy. The minestrone soup tastes like my moms which is always a request when I go back home. We are always on a mission to find new pizza places in our hood and we found a keeper. YUM!

Something very bad has happened to this place. It used to have decent thin crust pizza. Not true New York style pizza but decent pizza all the same. Just picked up a slice and I actually had to toss it out after a few bites. It was so bland and all it tasted like was tasteless cheese. Plus it was the day before Halloween and they had the fright fest on AMC. So here I was eating a gross piece of pizza watching some awful 90’s horror movie. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

There was an Armand’s pizzeria out in my hometown of Plainfield for the longest time. It’s great to have it back in my life. Pizza Tuesdays is a fun tradition to have with my roomies, and the deal is unlike any other for the quality you receive. A little pricey, sure. But the Tuesdays make it a steal, and it’s still great any other day. When it comes to pizza, you don’t always get what you pay for. There are some drawbacks. Sometimes they cut the pizza ridiculously tiny. A few times it was burnt. It’s often extremely oily as well, and the delivery drivers are awesome, friendly but phoning in orders is probably the least pleasing part of the experience. But with every pro and con, it’s pretty stellar pizza.

I will start by saying the pizza is good — it is my go-to neighborhood pizza place. I order it a few times a month. However, today I had such a terrible customer service experience that I can’t even justify giving this place my patronage anymore despite how much I like the pizza. I always order a side of ranch but I never receive it. Not an enormous deal, but kind of annoying that it repeatedly happens. So, today my husband called to ask why we never receive it. The OWNER told him we do not receive the side of ranch because we don’t pay for it. There is no way to pay for a side of ranch dressing via Unilocal and rather than just automatically charge me, call to ask me if they can charge me, or just send it for free because I spent $ 30… they decided to forgo it and then place the blame on us. I mean, how much can a side of ranch cost? Such a shame to lose a loyal customer over 50 cents.

Carry out or delivery, but do not eat there. Very unpleasant place. Staff were not friendly and often arguing with each other. There were no cups. Pizza tastes really good. Fresh cheeses and tomatoes. Skimpy on the meat barely two pieces per slice.

Ordered a pizza 2 hours ago via Grub Hub and still no delivery. Called and had someone tell me that she’s sorry but the drivers are ‘slowing down’ as if that made any sense whatsoever. When I seemed less than pleased with her answer, she asked ‘Well, do you want me to call the driver?’ No, I just want my pizza. Used to be a quality place to order. Here’s a hint — have your drivers actually deliver within a reasonable time-frame or don’t offer delivery. And asking me if I want you to ‘call the driver’ makes no sense. No, I want the food I ordered. How you accomplish that is on you. Won’t be ordering again.

Come here when Im by work and wanting a slice. They got the typical $ 5 even for a big slice with a drink deal commonly seen at Baccis and other pizza spots. The pizza is not bad, tasty, not too greasy. Staff are cool. Havent really tried anything else here. Good but not amazing. Wish they would have more unique pizzas with different types of ingredients.

Sal, the owner read my review and contacted me via Unilocal to discuss delivery issue. I am very pleased with his service and willingness to reach out to me to correct the problem. So for that, I am changing the rating to 4 stars.

To be fair, the pizza is pretty damn good. I’d even venture to say above average in the area. That said, when your pizza arrives in a jumbled mess, and containing an entire onion on a couple slices, I have to knock the review down a few notches. The delivery driver either shook the shit out of these or dropped them and didnt think we’d notice(really?). Color me disappointed tonight.

Was waffling between 3 and 4 stars. Leaned towards 4 because i really enjoyed the crust, and they delivered faster than promised. Overall: solid, fairly traditional thin crust pizza. Probably one of the better options in WP/UK village not named Roots for thinner crust.

I was recently at a birthday party when I spied some delicious looking pizza, and zoned out. All I could think was«Ommmm that pizza looks so good. Can people stop talking to me now so I can eat this pizza… droool». Don’t judge me! I was starving and it had been a long day! So, after suffering through a bit of conversation, I finally elbowed my way through the masses and grabbed a few slices. It was delightful. Thin, crispy with a delicious sauce and just the right amount of cheese. A few days later I was craving the delicious thin crust pizza, but didn’t know where it came from. A few texts later, I found out it was Armand’s and I had a hot pie on the way. I may or may not have eaten it all.

As we were wandering down Division making a decision about dinner, we happened across this place. They were advertising thin crust which was the preference of my friend. We stopped in and ordered a pie to go. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. We hung out for a few minutes and our pizza was ready. We got the Quatro Formaggi and it was tasty. Each cheese had it’s distinct flavor and what we didn’t finish that night was equally tasty cold for breakfast the next day.
