Dr. Kibbitt is great. I had chipped my front tooth over the weekend and needed to get it fixed fast. Not being originally from Chicago I did not know where to go and I was referred to Dr. Kibbitt’s office by my boss. I called on Monday morning to schedule an appointment, and to my delight they were able to schedule me for that afternoon to repair my tooth. Having never been there before they were helping in filling out my paperwork and willing to work with the insurance I had. Everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend coming here for any dental work. And my tooth looks better than before it was chipped!

No pain, no novicane needed. Exceptional customer service with attentive health care. I LOVVVVVE going to my dentist! Anyone who has a dentist-phobia, I highly recommend these dentists; they will convert you into a believer! James J. Furmaneck, DDS is my dentist, but I had appointments with his business partner Carle E. Kibbitt, DDS as well. I have NEVER had a negative experience with them. Both dentists are personable, attentive, and highly professional. Their office notifies me when I am due for an appointment by mail and by phone, and the receptionist Pamela is always cheerful and friendly in scheduling an appointment. They have even called me when an earlier appointment has opened up, and if I am interested in taking it. Whether it is the routine cleaning, required dental x-rays, or assessment for potential mouth surgery, they spend time talking to me, assessing what’s needed, and with patience – I never experienced a hurried moment from the dentists. In fact, in the *very* few times they were behind schedule, they have come in and APOLOGIZED for being late. How many medical professionals do you know that do that without prompting? In addition, they will have conversations with their patients on a personal level. For example, Dr. Furmaneck is a family man with two daughters, one who recently graduated as is becoming a nurse. We joked with each other while he is giving me the status of my dental care. And the hygenists are the same! Julie is a hygenist that I have had for regularly, and she is first and foremost a professional(«Do you have any questions? When you been flossing – any bleeding? Etc.), and a human being who remembers I do Pilates, loves music – and she shares her wedding pictures and the end of the appointment. Why 5-Star Status: This is one example of many… I recently had a afternoon appointment, but I was detained finding a parking space downtown, making me about 25min late. When I made it to the office, they had made a swap with another client who arrived early, and asked if I didn’t mind waiting 20 mins so I could still have my appointment that day. While I waited, the reception staff asked how things were going with work, remembering what I did and where, as well as other personal info through casual conversation from my last appointment 6 months ago. Same appointment, and I misplaced my parking ticket(d’oh). When I returned to the dentist office, another hygenist who I met for the first time(genial, kind enough, cool) was there who immediately helped me. She WENTTHROUGHTHEGARBAGE for me where I had my exam. Human beings treating other human beings with care and respect. Why haven’t you made your appointment yet!!!
