Great selection of beers and amazing food. We ordered the Totchos(tots, bacon, tomatoes, cilantro, pepper, and beer cheddar), fried pickles, pretzel, and the burger for myself. The pretzel is a must! Super soft and the beer cheddar fondue makes a perfect match. Atmosphere is lively and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. They also own the bowling alley next door that has a bar which is the icing on the cake.

Great selection of beer, and they brew their beer at the facility as well. Great fish tacos and fried pickles, bu t wish they had dessert. My favorite is the double hibiscus IPA. Knowledgeable staff on beer on food. Had a party here and Kristen and Edgar were very friendly, nice, and gave a great experience. The vintage bowling alley is awesome! They also have growlers to go at a reasonable price.

Go here for the beer; stay for the bowling! We absolutely loved the engaging servers here; they were knowledgeable about the beer and the menu. I have never seen quinoa on as brewery menu; this is only one of the wonderful unexpected delights at Atlas. Great beer(barley wine and gose were exceptional), awesome food(try the Brussels sprouts) and service… so glad we stopped! A quick, pleasant walk from the Brown Line(who needs a car??) and you reward awaits. Oh, and there’s a vintage bowling alley next-door… SCORE!

The food: 2⁄5. I had fish tacos and a side of tots. The tacos weren’t the most lackluster I’ve had in my life, but fairly close. The service: approaching negative infinity or simply atrocious. Our night there started out just fine, the bartender was fairly friendly and gave us a lot of suggestions on the drinks. Now, this might be a one time kind of situation, but it says a lot about their service and integrity. When we were there, their sewer drains flooded and sewage started floating on the floor of the bar area. The smell was so offensive the entire bar literally had to run out of the building as soon as possible. Instead of acknowledging the situation and covering customer’s tabs, or at the very least apologizing, the staff kept serving and dodged the questions about what’s going on. This is unsanitary and completely unacceptable. Overall: 0⁄5. I won’t be going ever again on the off chance I’ll have to stand ankle deep in sewage again.

Would be 3.5 stars for me but I am on who rounds up. A great place to nosh at before heading to Lincoln Hall for a show, and also to bowl and/or catch a game! They have big booths that seat 6 in the bar area and lots of other seating options for groups or couples. The beers are really good and our waitress was great. The pretzel app was wonderful and pizzas are solid. Fish tacos and tots — can’t go wrong there either! Check it out and/or stop in and pick up a growler at least!

We stopped by to try the beers and really enjoyed ourselves. The selection was amazing. My partner and I like different types of beers. He prefers IPAs and sours while I prefer wheats and ales. Usually, one of us likes one brewery and the other is not as impressed. However, at Atlas, we both enjoyed our beers. We look forward to returning in the future and trying out the food. It looked and smelled good. Also, great ambiance and service. And great prices on flights and pints.

Great place to relax and catch a game with friends! Pros: lots of tables and well-placed tvs, good selection of beer and drinks, and nice music. Cons: service was a little slow, the music was a bit too loud for normal conversation, and they don’t have fries(for my drunchie needs :)) Overall, a really great pub! Will definitely be coming back. Edit: forget what I said about the lack of fries, the pretzel appetizer they have makes up for it! It tastes more like a delicious breadstick than a pretzel, but that’s what made it absolutely heavenly! I could eat this and the cheese dip for days!

What’s better than a post-brunch beer? Somehow I had forgotten about Atlas with all of the craft breweries popping up on every corner. The inside is posh-industrial. It’s a comfortable gastropub atmosphere, quite unlike some of the breweries that have a warehouse feel. Atlas reminded me a bit of DryHop, but classier. You can order 5 oz. pours for $ 3, so I created my own sampler: Grapefruit Radler, Farmhouse Wheat, and Dilophosaurus Hibiscus IPA. All 3 were great, but the Farmhouse Wheat was my favorite with the lychee bubblegum flavors. If you are so inclined, they do serve food: tacos, pizza, burgers, and other bar favorites. Service is friendly and totally not pretentious.

Well I don’t drink beer so this review is just going to be for the food. Though from my family’s reactions, I could tell the beer was great! Service was good, though it did take a while. The menu liked pretty good, some good vegetarian options. I went for a salad with quinoa, cucumbers, and pineapples, but I asked for it without pineapple as I am slightly allergic. The salad was not at all what I expected. It was a large flavorless pile of quinoa with some scattered pieces of cucumber. I love quinoa, but red quinoa has a really earthy flavor, and to me does not taste very good if it isn’t mixed in with something. I ate a little bit of it, but did not like it, nor did my family. My dad and grandma got margherita pizzas and they were thankfully kind enough to share them with me. I liked the setup of the restaurant, and all of the old beer signs they had up! If I return I won’t be ordering that salad again.

Saturday was our very first visit to Atlas. It wasn’t busy and was a nice escape from the heat, humidity and rain. We took a seat at the bar and decided to get a flight of all their beers on tap. The atmosphere was comfortable, low light, but welcoming. Our bartender served our flight of 12 beers in the same order as they appeared on the menu. They brew a little bit of everything, sours, pale ales, IPAs, stouts, barley’s…we were excited! Now, we aren’t beer snobs by any means, but in general we weren’t blown away by any of the beers. That’s not to say we didn’t have our favorites though. We really liked the Junebock Helles Bock, Diversey Pale Ale, and the Dark Magic Dunkel Lager. Our least favorite was definitely the Apricot Gose. I’ve had a few sour beers in my lifetime, but this one was WAY too sour. We kinda struggled with it, and my friend definitely took one for the team on that one. The service was good. The bartender kinda let us be, which was totally fine. He was on it with the water. All in all, a good place to chill. I would for sure like to come back and check out the bowling alley that’s attached.

Experience: 4⁄5 First visit to Atlas on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. Wasn’t very busy and we grabbed a seat at the bar. Being our first visit, we opened the beer menu and decided to go with a 5 oz of everything! 12 beers total. It’s a nice atmosphere with friendly bartenders. Not too crowded, and we were seated immediately. Drinks: 3⁄5 No food this time around. 12 beers total with a wide range of choices. Our favorites were the Junebock Helles Bock, Diversey Pale Ale, and the Dark Magic Dunkel Lager. We were pretty meh about the Pilsner and the Radler. The Apricot Gose was wayyy too sour for our tasting. Overall, nothing I would buy a Growler of unfortunately. Service: 5⁄5 Bartender was very efficient. Didn’t engage in any life changing conversations or anything. Price: $$ $ 2.25-$ 3.50 for a 5oz. Not bad, not great. Overall: 3.5÷5 Was pretty quiet and a good place to hang out and try some new beers. Not a fan of most of the beers. A few decent, but overall, not the best I’ve ever had. I feel like beers are more of a personal preference type experience. Try them out at least and decide for yourself!

Been here now a few times and am always satisfied with the quality of food and the beer selection. The chicken sandwich I had this last time was quite good, and the fries were probably my favorite part… they have a good texture and are the right amount of crispy – would recommend. Also enjoyed the saison they have on tap and the Dunkel lager. FYI, this place doesn’t seem to get that busy til a bit later, so definitely hit it up if you’re looking for a good atmosphere and a good beer(or two).

Went here on a Friday night with a group of friends to grab some beers. There were plenty of tables available and our server was very friendly. They offer full sized pints and samplers(as well as growlers) for all of their beers. I tried their milk stout and really enjoyed it, and I’m a stout kind of guy. My friends tried a variety of their beers and everyone was pretty impressed. They have one with a hint of bubble gum in it which is pretty unique. Our server was even able to split checks at the end which you almost never see in the city. If you like beer you should definitely give Atlas a try! I’d love to come back again and try their food too.

Went here for a quick dinner on Saturday. It wasn’t too crowded so they were able to sit us pretty quickly, but that’s kind of where the good part ends. The service here was really, really disappointing. After we were seated it took 15 minutes for any server to acknowledge us, and when one finally did, she just came up and said, «So do you guys want some food?» Most of our interactions with her were unpleasant and awkward — if you’re busy, that’s cool. But at least keep us from feeling like we’re pissing you off. The food is sub-par at best. My friends both got sandwiches(grilled cheese and pulled pork) and they arrived cold. One friend had subbed a side salad for fries, which got mixed up(no big deal), but instead of just grabbing a salad and leaving her plate, they took away the entire meal, disappeared for 10 minutes, and then brought back her(colder) sandwich along with a weird salad that randomly had an egg on it and just looked like iceberg lettuce from the bottom of the bag. I got the spinach salad with goat cheese and blackberries, and while it was fresh, it was pretty boring. The beer is fine, they charge for samples which is kind of a crock but whatever. We tried 5 different kinds and they were all pretty good, not outstanding. If you’re looking for a place to grab a beer, it’s a nice atmosphere and pretty quiet. Wouldn’t recommend sitting down to eat though — between the food and the horrible service I’m not planning on coming back.

Quiet atmosphere on a Wednesday night. I was really hoping for some good food after a long evening of condo showings, but the Margherita pizza here was easily the most bland tasting pizza I’ve had. Usually I’m a strong believer that you can’t mess up something that easy/delicious, but this pizza was really sub par. Not even the«house made mozzarella» made it better. I was so sad! At least the tots were pretty good. Bacon, cheese, and scallions really were the hero on those.

This brew pub is more restaurant than brewery. They have tanks in the back, but dont offer tastings on the menu or tours. I find their selection of brews slanted highly towards hop-heads. They like hoppy bears and IPAs. I am a malty guy– I like ambers, porters, stouts. Which they didn’t have much selection of. Their menu is eclectic but highly overpriced for the portions your receive. I ordered a collection of sliders and tacos, all were tiny, and not terribly flavorful. Finally the waitstaff was not attentive. I got thirsty at a brewery because we were not being topped off with water, or asked if we needed more drinks. I had to ask 3 times for another beer to the same waitress… this is not acceptable. This place is on my will not return list at this time.

I was really looking forward to finally trying this brewery and am sad to say that my group was pretty disappointed. The good: Food. Our table shared several appetizers which were all pretty delicious. We had the brussels sprouts, the poutine, and the white bean dip. The brussel sprouts were served in a tzatziki sauce which worked really well. I think I took down most of that dish on my own. The poutine was good but the highlight was for sure the duck on top. I could have eaten an entire plate of that. There was a generous amount of meat on top, but there was very little gravy or cheese curds which, to me, are the most important part of poutine. It was still good, though. The white bean dip was tasty — heavy on the parsley, but I didn’t mind that so much. Service. Our waitress was amazing. The bad: Beer. And we came here for the beer. I shouldn’t say ‘bad’ necessarily, but I certainly wouldn’t be tempted to come back here for any of the beers I had. I had the milk stout, the porter, the pale ale, the tripel, and the brown ale. While all were adequate, there was nothing special or memorable about any of them. I feel like I could have had those beers anywhere. I am not into IPA’s, but my husband said the IPA’s were all flat. The ugly: Prices. I just think $ 7-$ 8 per beer is too much. I would be fine to pay that at a great restaurant /brewery for a special day/night out, but these beers were not good enough to justify paying that amount. I would say this place is worth checking out if you are in the area or something, but I would not go out of my way to go here again. It was just okay for me.

Stopped over here while awaiting Batter and Berries across the street. Grabbed a couple of drinks and I can say, I really want to go back. The waitress we had was very nice, and the service was on-point. I had the T-Rex Hug cognac beer and it was very good. We also grabbed an appetizer(the poutine with duck confit) and it was really flavorful. Definitely want to come back and try out some of their other food.

Oh man! I am a huge Atlas Shrugged fan and a huge brewery fan, so I thought for sure this was a slam dunk! Alas, I am saddened to write neither the theme nor the food/drink lived up to expectations. But I did think the service was great. Friendly, helpful, and just excited for you to be there! Love that. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed with the current special they’re trying out for the wine and cheese happy hour. The beer part was a good deal, but I was quite disappointed about the cheese quantity. Maybe I’m just a cheese monster. So we ordered sliders to supplement, and they were just alright. The beer I enjoyed the most was the saison, and my friend liked the rye IPA the best. Most of the beers offered just weren’t to my taste, but they were still quality. I’d recommend stopping in here for a brew, but skipping on the grub.
