There is nothing better than having an Autozone right by your apartment to fulfill your car owner needs. After leaving my car in my spot for a few days my battery decided to call it quits on me. Thanks to Autozone I had a new battery in my car the next day. I never have a hard time finding what I need and the employees are some of the nicest most helpful people I have had the pleasure of engaging.
Thanks for saving my booty.

I was at Autozone today for car a complete starting and charging systems test. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I entered the store. Sylvester helped me with my car. He was very friendly and helpful. The process was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this Autozone to others.

So down the street at Advance Auto Parts, the woman working the counter looked at me like I slapped a baby while spouting racial slurs when I asked if someone would help replace a burnt out turn signal. #byeFelicia
About 4 blocks West I walked into this AutoZone and got a pleasant greeting, replacement bulb for about 5 bucks, and the dude even installed it for me in about 5 minutes. A totally awesome experience.
The store is tidy, the staff is friendly, and the attitudes are positive compared to the competitors down the street. I’ll definitely be back to this AutoZone when I need car stuff.

Of course, it is –1 outside and my car won’t start. So after jumping it and having a pretty good idea it was the battery, I looked into repair options. I am out of work so I’m particularly price sensitive. The garages in the area were likely going to charge for the battery AND the labor. A bit of research turned up that AutoZone would do the installation for free. I checked their website and found a mid-​range battery listed for $ 125. I called the store and the person who answered the phone was super friendly and told me to come right over and they’d sell me the battery and replace it for free as long as the installation was straightforward and the battery easily accessible. When I arrived I was super happy that the battery was on sale, I got it for $ 100! And the manager Sylvester, and the team member, Alesondro, both could not have been more kind and helpful. They both stood outside in the bitter cold and figured out how to replace the battery, even though it turned out to be trickier than expected. In addition, the store is very nice and clean, and has a parking lot that is very accessible. I will definitely be going back there, and highly recommend them! Thank you AutoZone Logan Square for making what could have been a very crappy and expensive experience actually very pleasant.

I’ve got to be honest, as far as prices go, I do not know if this is the best place to go for auto parts. The employees are extremely helpful. I showed up at the store a couple of days ago because I thought that one of my break lights was out. Not only did Daisy, the employee, find the correct bulb, but she came outside to my car to help install it! As it turned out, my light was not out. She gladly refunded the money for the bulb back to me with a smile on her face, even though I had just wasted about fifteen minutes of her life. Whether the price is good or not, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The had the light bulb I was looking for. Does that deserve a review or is that just common sense for what an auto supply store is supposed to deliver? It’s like saying the grocery store had apples today. Whatever, good job Autozone.

To Whom it may concern,
I am a resident of Chicago, IL, (Logan Square area) I normally frequent your NEW Autozone store located at the corner of Armitage and Kimball Ave. for various automotive needs. I must tell you that the visit I made this Sunday 1÷15÷2012 was by far the the laziest, most unmotivated customer service I have ever witnesses by anyone in Retail with two legs.
To start things off my battery started to give me problems in my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. So Autozone, being literally 4 minutes from my home, was my first choice to purchase my new battery and plus I had been hearing from my neighbors that Autozone now offers installation when you purchase the battery. My thinking was perfect, I can run to Autozone and get my battery changed before the end of Packers vs Giants football game. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!
First of all, I called the store to see if the battery purchase and installation was ineed true. That checked out to be true. So I go to the store and walk tell the associate what I was needing to be done. His initial body reaction was very negative but it didn’t surprise me due to the fact it wasn’t balmy outside but it was manageable. His first excuse was «by it being soo late the company says it’s a safety risk to be outside the store at this time». It was about 4:45pm in the evening. That didn’t stop me from trying get this done so I can get back home in time for the game. So I assured the guy I would stand outside with him while he changes the battery (I am 6’4″ tall, 350 lbs). So he then says «okay, I’ll take a look, we walk outside but he then walks back into the store, goes in the back, speaks to another employee, comes back and tells me that «he can’t do it because there aren’t enough people in the store for him to be out of the store». There were no customers in the store and I saw at least two other employees in the store and someone was in the back that wasn’t in a uniform. I almost begged of him to change the battery and I also offered my help so it won’t take too long. I would have done it myself but I don’t have tools. So now I talk to him some more and convince him to at least try to get my battery replaced. He walked outside with me, I raised the hood, he took a look and then said, «aw nall, we don’t change the batteries in these kinds of vehicles because it is a liability issue but the wierd thing was he suggested that I take it to another Autozone location near Grand and Central Park (Chicago’s westside). What kind of sense does that make? It’s a liability issue for your store but not for theirs, HUH! Now that’s when I started becoming disturbed! I quickly jumped in my vehicle and tried to go to Pep Boys but to no avail because they were closed (closed at 6:00pm) due to the time wasted with the associate. I would’ve respected him more if he had of told me that he just didn’t want to do it.
So after missing Pep Boys I thought, «well hell, I have to get this done so let me try the other location». So here I go! Without even mentioning what I had just went through with the other Autozone store I walk in and the young lady greets me and asked if she can help. I explain to her tht I was looking to purchase a battery. She asked, «are you going to need it installed»? I said yes. She said, «okay you have to wait a minute because the guy who installs the batteries is outside changing the battery in another car. So I wait. The guy came in, asked for the make, model, etc, etc. grabbed the battery, asked me if I wanted to watch, I said sure, we were outside fo maybe all of 14 minutes! He was patientand sue of what he was doing. After he changed the battery we went back inside and that’s when I told them about what happened at the other store and they all just shook their heads. Even the manager on duty didn’t have words for what I expeienced.
Now with all that being said, «I will not being visiting any Autozone locations until I get a response about this issue!» In today’s economy, in a relativity NEW Autozone store location, this is not good and customer service such as this will not help your store last in this neighborhood. I am in management and this is not acceptable in any way, form, or fashion. I thnk you for your time in reading this complaint and I hope it is properly addrress. I will also be Unilocaling about this experience.

The employees here are unbelievably rude and inattentive. In order to buy one simple item, I waited in line for ten minutes while 3 employees ignored the customer ahead of me and swore in Spanish as if no one could understand them. No one offered to ring me up while they wandered around pretending to do something. When it was finally my turn, the register ran out of receipt paper. Instead of fixing the problem immediately, the cashier went on to help another customer find something, which involved her yelling across the store to another employee about the product the man was looking for. She treated this customer like an idiot for not knowing the difference between different antifreezes. When I finally got my receipt, she did not even apologize for the delay. I felt like I was interrupting their ridiculous social gathering and will not return.
