Jenna Sprengel is a floral artist. We consulted with 3 different florists for my daughter’s wedding and Jenna, hands down, cleared the field. From the first time we met, she really ‘got’ my daughter’s vision of her dream wedding. She not only designed 3 perfectly different centerpieces, she assisted our planner, Effortless Events, in the entire tablescape theme, meeting us at the rental company to ensure that the entire table including dishes, silver, linens, glassware, chargers, chairs and tables had a specific ‘feel and warmth’ blending with her floral designs.
The wedding party’s floral pieces were exactly what my daughter was looking for… incorporating all the elements of florals and herbs she envisioned for her wedding. If you want your flowers to be amazing, Avant Gardenia should top your list.

I was definitely happy to meet with Jenna who met us halfway to meet with us and gave us amazing ideas for our winter wedding. We also asked her for some advice based on the lighting in our reception hall. She was a little hard to get a hold of since we didn’t really hear back from her as quickly as we needed for some questions and we also did not hear from her about having to do any breakdown of some of the décor. Thankfully I had my day of wedding planner take care of that for me, plus there was no follow up with me to see how my event was. It simply seemed that she was interested only in getting our event over with, which I was a little disappointed about seeing that this is a big deal. Prices were expensive but we were incredibly happy with the designs when we got to see the final products. Since it was a winter wedding, she made wreaths for half the table with glass ornaments and for the other tables, she made candlelit tops. We didn’t have flowers for the cake but we had candles placed throughout. (My husband is allergic to flowers so the only flowers we had were for myself and the bridesmaids). I took two stars off for lack of follow up and communication but otherwise I would recommend this place as long as you know it’s hard to get a hold of her towards the end.

Jenna is the most fabulous florist you could ever ask for. She goes above and beyond just her floral expertise to help make your dream wedding a reality! She seeks out the most beautiful, stunning flowers to ensure that all arrangements and bouquets are amazing! Our guests raved about our floral arrangements and décor! We couldn’t have been happier with Avant Gardenia!

To begin, Jenna is amazing. I first met her (after a few failed attempts due to my fault/​weather issues) about 11 months before my wedding on 12÷13÷14. She was amazing, her ideas were fantastic and I knew that I had to have Avant Gardenia do my bridal party flowers and part of my centerpieces (we used a lot of non-​floral accents to incorporate ornaments and candles). She ended up sending me a quote that was well over my original budget and I asked if we could scale back. Jenna had no issue doing that and repeatedly told me we could continue to work on where to cut once we got closer to the wedding and I decided what was important to me.
Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding and I was scrambling to discuss a few significant changes that had been made to our table arrangements versus what we had discussed 11 months prior. By a few, I mean we changed our entire floor layout (I unexpectedly accepted a new position about 2 weeks before our wedding, which threw a curveball into the planning process.) Jenna quickly changed her quote to account for the new floor plan and was extremely pleasant to work with, when I thought she would be fuming (if you were fuming Jenna, you hid it well). The flowers were absolutely stunning and completed my picture perfect wedding. My absolute favorite item was the floral wands she created for my flower girls. They were so unique and my two little nieces (2 y/​o) kept saying how they were princesses. To save on costs she put a few of our arrangements in plastic silver bowls, which you would never know unless you touched them. It brought down the cost and then we were also able to reuse them at the brunch the next day.
The team at Avant Gardenia does an amazing job, are slaves to detail, and Jenna really puts her heart and soul into every job. Thanks for completing my dream day!

I had the pleasure of working with Jenna for my December 28^th wedding. I was planning our wedding from Denver so I knew I would need someone that was flexible and able to see my vision, even when I couldn’t literally show her. I felt that Jenna was «with me» right from the start. She understood my budget constraints but worked hard to find something that exceeded my expectations. She offered unique and fun ideas for the bridal party bouquets. My guests are STILL talking about what we called the cascading wrist bouquets. The center pieces she created were absolutely beautiful and she did a wonderful job of getting things set up. I made a great choice in picking Avant Gardenia and would recommend them to anyone.

Jenna created the flower arrangements for our wedding, and they were absolutely stunning! My mom actually works as a plant breeder, so she had very high expectations for our flower arrangements. We met with a few florists, but thought Jenna had the most interesting and unique ideas. She is very knowledgeable, and listened to the what we were looking for, and had some great ideas to add. Our flowers were even more gorgeous than I could have imagined!

The flowers for my wedding were incredibly beautiful! I loved working with Jenna and her staff, and knew I did not need to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. I met with Jenna to book well in advance, gave her my color scheme and budget and let her go wild :) She had great ideas, and was willing to make some changes to fit my budget which was great. Her team delivered flowers to multiple locations the day of, and everything was great. I particularly love that she gives vases for all of the bouquets for the ladies so they don’t get smashed and you don’t have to hold them all day. They would make great «center pieces» for the head table if you have one at your wedding. I would highly recommend this company– the work they did was excellent!

Jenna Sprengel, owner of Avant Gardenia, did a phenominal job for our wedding floral and décor. I completely trusted her designer-​eye and she transformed our wedding venue into something more beautiful than I could have imagined! She has excellent taste and creativity. In my case, she had to deal with some people at our venue who did not communicate well and she got the job done because her standards are very high. I think she is exactly what the modern bride wants! I highly recommend using Avant Gardenia for your wedding or event floral. You will not be disappointed!
