idk where all these 5-​star reviews came from, but this bar sucked, came here a few times when a friend promoted this spot.
Their website is broken, and I just checked their facebook page that says they got closed (probably cuz it was filled with DePaul freshman the entire time):

Love this bar! my friends and i had a birthday to celebrate recently and chose this bar to party at… such a great time… i thought the cave looking ceiling was awesome and so were the drinks… they definately do not skimp on the liquor. the dj was awesome playing a great mix and taking requests… and i love love love the glitter bar top. we will be back and probably be talking about that night for a while

If you like drinking in caves and no one in your party is above 6ft tall, this is a great bar.
However, if you enjoy bars that don’t feel like a douche bag’s bomb shelter, then this bar is terrible.
But the bouncer was really nice.

I’ve been there with my friends several times in the past month. B Bar has a relaxed but upbeat atmosphere. The ceiling looks like a cave. The walls are blood red with mirrors. The DJ plays top 40 and takes requests, he was really nice. The bartenders dress classy and are very nice and eager to sell you $ 20 wristbands to drink all night long!!! No cover!!! Moderately priced and not watered down drinks! I could actually smell and taste the whiskey in my coke! One night I got we got two rounds of free drinks from some girls representing a vodka company. And its not too crowded.
