Bacardi is a breath a fresh air in our community. Conveniently located just down the street from the cesspool that is Kozy’s Cyclery, Bacardi’s is your quintessential Mom-and-Pop shop with excellent customer service, fair prices, and a pleasant, feels-like-home atmosphere. As I had suspected, my bike was not in need of a new tire, but rather a spoke replacement and some general maintenance, all of which would run me around $ 65(instead of the $ 120 that Kozy’s tried to rob me of). I was taken care of by Matt, who told me that he had heard many horror stories of the bike snobbery at Kozy’s, which to quote him, «has been going on for years and is such a shame.» With one quick glance at my bike, Matt sized-up all the fixes I needed and told me he could have everything ready by the next day. I also learned that Bacardi’s offers a variety of bikes for rent at good rates, as well as invests in the local scene by having weekly bike rides on Sunday. There’s a wonderfully humble and professional staff at Bacardi’s, and I had such a good experience there that I shook Matt’s hand before leaving. This is how biking should be – inclusive, accessible, fun. Thanks again guys, you’ve got a customer for life!

I brought in an older schwin bike with seat issues. Owners Fidel and Matt(Father and Son) were fantastic. I just poped in and they we Very approachable and knowledgeable and was able to replace the stripped bolt and adjust the seat perectly to me right on the spot. I had a great ride home and was so happy. Cost 5 bucks… overall experience… priceless. check out their pricing for repairs on their Facebook page or request a quote on Unilocal. One stop shop for all your biking needs! They have great refurbished one of a kind bikes that are amazing and a great mix of inventory for every type of rider! I’m So happy to have met them and looking forward to participating in their rides!

My wife and I wanted to rent a bike on Sunday but we were told that they normally don’t open on Sundays. However, they were very friendly and ended up opening the shop so we could rent bikes for a couple of hours. We ended up buying a few items we needed for our own bikes and I am definitely bringing in my bike for any future services. They gave me a great idea on how to be able to turn my bike into a single speed. Great place and great people. for sure.

Came here after a better-known shop totally misdiagnosed what was wrong with my bike. These guys got it running perfectly and for a good price. Super friendly family owned shop. Also have a bunch of cheap refurbished bikes for sale. And a cute dog

Fidel was super friendly and showed me around the shop. He gave me some tips on fixing a persistent flat problem my wife is having with her bike. I went back 2 days later after finding a bike for my kid on their FB page and bought it. Great price and Fidel’s dad(?) even cut the seat post down a bit so it fit my kid better! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new-to-you bike.
