My mom was a patient of Dr. Dunek’s and had trouble with back pain. Dr. Dunek advised my mom to go see a therapist because she thought she was making the pain up instead of conducting further research. It turns out the back pain was a result of Leukemia which would have been caught sooner had she seen another dr.

Dr Beata was awesome! Great service~ right to the point. Awesome results. If you are looking for Botox or filler at a super price and done expertly, come on in. Very impressed!

I had a scalp issue for a while now, and 4 months later after about 4 visits or so to Dr. Danek its fully resolved. I was very happy with her approach and her communication and explanation of what was going on was excellent. I have seen a few doctors to fix this issue and she nailed it on the first try.
I was also VERY pleased with the fact that she listened to me and let me ask questions about what I have read on the net or what I should or should not be doing. Really was happy about that. here have been a few doctors that seem to just brush off what you are asking or talking about but she really listened and was able to put my mind at ease.
Was very happy and will be going to her again and again for future needs.

I will never come here again. Made an appointment for 630 and waited over an hour! This is completely ridiculous. They overbook and can’t get to their clients in time. People have things to do rather then sit in a doctors office

I came to see Dr. Danek at New You Cosmetic Medicine Chicago as I was interested in a dermal filler for filling in the marionette and laugh lines to my face. I found Dr. Danek through Care Credit’s website, although I do not have care credit.
I was able to make an appointment to see the doctor quite soon, which i liked. I had another appointment scheduled with Lakeview Dermatology which I cancelled because Dr. Danek’s office offered dermal fillers at a better price. They also had a special going on, buy one facial filler get the 2^nd half off. The wait was not very long, as other have complained, as I do expect a wait when going to see a doctor.
When meeting her I felt comfortable and relived, she informed of all the options I had and we choose the best one for my needs. She was very warm, kind, and friendly, and addressed all of my concerns.
The procedure itself did not take long maybe 15 minutes, and I was pleasantly satisfied with the results. Plus I was able to take advantage of the «buy one get one half off» special” for the dermal fillers!
Their office is also on the cutting edge of the latest technology for anti aging treatment, I will be returning in a few weeks for a check up and to possibly go for some new treatments they are offering. One is called a vampire face lift where they use your own stem cells to produce collagen cells, this is the same type of cells that can be made into anything and is on the cutting edge of science and medicine and works for cancer patients. Now stem cell research can be used for cosmetic medicine. I am thoroughly impressed with the latest technology of dermal fillers. And this is coming from the daughter of Gastroenterologist, and I am studying to get into pharmacy sales myself.
Definitely go to Dr. Danek for cosmetic treatments, you won’t regret it and I give her 5 stars and look forward to seeing her for future treatments as needed.

N/​G. I was hopeful & excited about this doctor after reading good reviews here.
I was still hopeful and excited after waiting 25 minutes just to give a medical history to a ESL staffer who seemed to not understand 90% of what I said.
I then sat and waited almost 2 hours in an exam room — still hopeful and excited — listening to multiple patients being taking care of in other rooms. Not just double booked — this place was quadruple booked. Never a good sign.
When the doctor finally came in, she was rushed, rude & talked over top of me while supposedly (again) taking my medical history. She was dismissive, patronizing and nasty about anything I said regarding my health history, family history — questioned everything in the most degrading way — my condition, even the way my father died — as if I were lying? It was positively bizarre,
When I suggested that maybe we were having a communication problem she decided that I was ‘insulting’ her — and I honestly was not — she did speak English fairly well, but it seemed like perhaps she couldn’t understand what I was saying as she was attacking & misinterpreting every single answer I gave. Tho honestly — I am not sure how she could really hear anything I was saying as she was typing away, looking at her computer screen — and was very hurried, annoyed, busy, talking over me — steamrolling over everything I was saying — and then scoffing at everything I said. It was exhausting, frustrating & frightening —
She had me in tears, shaking and almost in crisis right there in the exam room after her «doctoring». which frankly wouldn’t have passed muster in a prison camp! and the exam? Aside from yelling at me and arguing with me – she poked at my ears, my mouth, pushed my arms down, and felt my stomach, I’ve had more of an exam from my hairdresser.
Offered me flu shots, a mammogram and anti-​depressants?
I mean — hey fine — but I can get ALL of that stuff at those Walgreens clinics.
I thought I was visiting an actual doctor?
I am sure she felt I ‘wasn’t a good patient’ — because I questioned some of the absolutely bizarre things she was saying regarding my conditions —
but I have no desire to have «SHE WAS A GOOD PATIENT» engraved on my headstone after some clued out rushed doctor kills me with incorrect treatment!
As a patient and as a paying customer, one that has just wasted many many hours out of my own working day to be there, losing a days pay — to see a DOCTOR for HELP — I absolutely have the right to ask questions about medical treatment options I am being given. And especially when what I am hearing
a) makes no sense b) could endanger my life.
In my opinion this is simply =not= a good doctor, maybe at one point she was — but now? It is VERY apparent she is just trying to get you the heck OUT of her office if you have any real problems — especially if you are EEEk an HMO patient — she just wants to refer away (is she getting kickbacks?) and focus on her more profitable cosmetic surgery stuff — and here’s the rub — she’s doling out Botox? And doesn’t know what Myasthenia Gravis is??? Be afraid.
Overbooked, rude, unprofessional, and terrible communicator — listed as a family practice doctor but primarily is selling plastic surgery and botox out of a dingy office — is obviously only taking in and triple booking HMO family practice patients to try and make a buck from the volume — is NOT interested in actually ‘caring’ for someone beyond getting them in & out.
Cannot recommend. life is too precious.
There are plenty of great doctors in the Chicago area, this is NOT one of them.

Not just for skin care… Dr. Danek’s office is the best around. I had been searching for a doctor to listen to me about how my body was feeling. I found it with Dr. Danek’s office. They took the time to hear what I was saying. This office is a true family practice; from birth to death and everything in-​between. I can get in on a moments notice. Everyone is friendly. Best medical experience in a very long time.

A great doctor, she is a great listener and really cares about her patients. I’ve been looking for a long time to find a doctor like this. The only draw-​back is the wait times can be a little long but she’s worth it.

I am not gay but I LUV This woman!!! after using my health insurance with another DR that I’ve written a review on Unilocal about, I decided that I really needed to find a primary DR who understands me/​my body and my health concerns. ohh and ACTUALLY CARES! … I made a visit to an office to lose a few lbs (I think after 35 your metabolism just begins to run South forever) … I was going to get beauty creams from my dermatologist and going to another place for something else. All of these DR’s. ugh!!! I took my prescriptions to Dr. Beata and was I impressed how thorough she is. She really cares .
and also made suggestions. She gave me a blood test to check my hormones and also wanted to try a few things to help my body on it’s way to looking GLAM… I got 2 shots that I’ve needed after my 10 yr was just about up. and I will be returning in 5 weeks to a hopefully improved body inside and out. Although her office isn’t in my neighborhood. she is soo good that I wouldn’t mind driving an hour for her care. she is THAT GOOD. For all of you ladies. she does beauty treatments as well (botox etc). YES she has a Beauty side and a Health Side. she’s FABULOUS!
