They make a great philly cheesesteak. I chose only 4 stars because when this place is on they are on, when they are not they are not. They used to have much better chicken strips, but have since changed and the new ones are smaller and sometimes are real mushy or real hard… not crispy… hard. They do make a pretty solid burger and most times the chicken philly has flavor and is real tasty(sometimes it lacks any seasoning and is tough… good luck with that). I am definitely not going to stop eating there, but I just go into it with the knowledge that I will probably get some great tasting food from an unexpected spot, but there is a chance I will get the type of flavorless, texture-confused grub you would expect from a place called«Best Subs 3».

They moved a couples of buildings away… Was located on the corner. The food is the same, tasty but the prices have gone up. Once the gyros were $ 7 now $ 8 something. I think everything has gone up $.50 …altogether, the food is good. Their pizza is my favorite; very cheesy !

We’ve only eaten there a couples times and their food is Mediocre at best. You do get a lot of food but today will be the last time I order from there. We placed an order at 6:30 at 7:30 we called for a status and the person at the phone said it would be another 15 min. Upsetting yes but we waited. 8pm came around and still no food. I called back and the person who answered said that she believes the delivery guy just left. I told her I would return cold food. She then put me on hold for over 5 min checking«status» at this point I’m gumming b/c I hear people in the back ground laughing. This is no way to run a business. We ordered over $ 100 in take out and they kept the entire order. Who wants cold gyros anyway. Never again.

Okay, let me start off by saying I had the subs from here once and they were really really good! The only reason this place gets two starts from me(honestly, I’d rather put none due to this experience, but the subs pretty damn tasty) has to do with the weird and rude service from tonight. I hadn’t eaten all day and was tired from work, so I asked my family if they’d want me to order a few subs. Our usual spot, Bob-O-Rino’s, was closed and I remembered this place and that they deliver. Ordered four subs and was somehow charged over $ 40!!! Like wow, really? For sandwhiches? Whatever, I was starving, a sub sounded great, and it was pay day anyways. Lady tells me it’ll be 20 mins. I’m thinking it’ll probably be sooner since we live like, not even 2 minutes away and it doesn’t take long to make a few sandwhiches. 30 minutes go by, still no food. 40 minutes go by since I ordered, still no food. I call and ask to see if my order went out yet, she said it should be there within 5 minutes. 10 minutes since the 2nd call goes by(when I was told 10 minutes) still no food! Finally I say screw it, over 40 minutes for sandwhiches from a place that is literally 2 minutes away? AND I paid over $ 40 for it? I’m just gonna cancel and order something else. I call to cancel and the woman is arguing with me, because she doesn’t wanna cancel because the food already went out. The fact that she started to argue with me is what really irritated me. If she was nice and said something along the lines of «I do apologize, but the order is already out. Are you sure you’d like to cancel?» I may have reconsidered, but no. She was pretty rude. I kept insisting I did not want the food and demanding a refund. She finally says she will refund my money, but when I checked online I did not see my money refunded into my account. THEN!!! About 10 minutes after she«refunded my money» over the phone, the delivery guy(who was 5 minutes away about 15 minutes ago) shows up and is calling me telling me he has my food, I tell him nicely I canceled the order and he keeps insisting it was never canceled. We go around and around over how I did cancel my order. I check my debit card account online again and my money was still not refunded. I call and throw a b*tch fit because I was my $ 40 back and she is saying she did. Oh, also when I paid with my card over phone, she sent my receipt via text from whatever system and when you click the link it tells you what time the transaction was placed. The same thing happened when she canceled my transaction, it said the time as well. She didn’t cancel it until after I called the last time. Needless to say I won’t order here again. Maybe if I walk by with a friend and they want to, but for sure never on my own and especially not for delivery. I’ll stick to Bob-O-Rino’s for my subs.

I’ve been going here for a few years. The customer service has always been great and there hasn’t been anything I’ve tried that I didn’t like. They also have THEBEST Italian beef! And that’s coming from someone born and raised on Italian beefs from Chicago. Would have given 5 starts, but they stopped accepting credit cards for delivery. They take cards on site, but not over the phone.

This joint is great. Service is top-notch; food is exceptionally tasty(especially for a place whose title ends in «#3,» as if it’s third-tier to anything). You might want to update your Unilocal profile, however, as they list you as being open seven days a week, which I’m reasonably sure you’re closed on Tuesdays.(Slight confession: If I didn’t eat there an exorbitant amount of times weekly, this trifling detail would most likely have escaped my attention.) Apart from that, though: fantastic. Since my husband and I moved into the neighborhood, it’s our stand-by for top-of-the-line food of all sorts.

For a greasy spoon place, this is as good as it can get. I suggest calling ahead and ordering because they actually cook your food so it takes longer then people expect but it is had the same employees since i was little. they get new owners every once in awhile but the people there will talk and connect with you. they are very nice.

If you plan to eat as a family or with friends, then don’t order or eat here. We ordered $ 35.00 of food and they charged us for an additional hot dog. Also they forgot to give us our 2 pizza puffs, so we had to go back and pick up the food, and charges us for one but didn’t acknowledge charging us for the hot dog we didn’t order. I personally talked to the owner Edgar, and he wanted to talk to my daughter because she placed the order, I explained that I was sitting right next to her when she ordered so the was no need for him to speak with her. I at least expected the owner to at least apologize, but wanted to get into a debate. So two family members had to wait to eat. Complete waste of money, and ruined our meal.

The interior is not pretty by any means, but most of the food I have had over the past 11 years has been tasty. My biggest gripe would be that they don’t seem to wear gloves, but then neither do the cooks at The Cheesecake factory I’ve heard. I eat there, so I figure their germs aren’t any worst than this place. I usually get the gyros special, which seems to go up in price every year. It’s excellent so I don’t care. You get a ton of fries, too many if you ask me. You get a soda in a can, and a gyros with a gigantic portion of thinly sliced meat. I get mine with grilled onions and extra sauce and hot giardiniera peppers on the side. It’s the best in town. Nice and greasy. The meat isn’t undercooked or too thick and the pita is cooked right. I’ve also had the pizza puff, the spicy chicken sandwich, the fish sandwich, the Cuban bistec sandwich, the grilled chicken pita, the polish sausage, and probably something else. The spicy chicken isn’t all that spicy. The Cuban Bistec is just thinly sliced beef on French bread. I love it with grilled onions and mustard and my own mayo from home. The grilled chicken pita is amazing with REAL all white meat. The polish sausage is also the best I’ve had. I believe they are Vienna beef. I get it deep fried with grilled onions and hot giardiniera peppers and mustard, or deep fried with raw onions, mustard, and sports peppers. I would recommend staying away from the chicken tenders, unless you enjoy floppy meat that looks and tastes like a cotton-ball.

Me and my friends would go here after a night of boozing. When the world is spinning cause of whiskey and you cant get me to like anything on your menu, theres no hope. Ive been here twice and i regretted it after the first bite.

I placed an order for delivery. Just wow. This is the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. Everything was burned to a crisp and inedible. How can you serve food like this? Have a little pride in your food and make an effort to make it seem like you want to please your PAYING customers

Simply cheap food. Bad. No taste. I had a cheeseburger and fries from here. The burger was very dry and bland. The fries were decent. I don’t know why they consider themselves the«best» or even anywhere near that.

Ordered a deep dish from here one time. It actually wasn’t that bad. The crust was good and the ingredients were fresh. This is Chicago, so I’ve had better, but this was passable.

I know I had a great review about this place but it was because they asked me to give it a great review. I believe that there is a few items that i would eat from their but i’ve seen how they work and their prep quality but wouldn’t eat unless i made it. I know that it has prior reviews and totally agree with their review. Their delivery service is not great because they wait for other delivery items to leave them all at once. During the weekdays it’s not busy so you might get faster service but weekends it’s bad because their not prepared. Service takes longer to get your food so you would need to call in your order 30 minutes before you actually get there.

Dude, this place is depressing. Every time I walk by, there are no more than 4 people in this dump and that includes the lady who runs it. I ordered 2 hot dogs and fries to go. It took almost 15 minutes. She charged me $ 3.80. I gave her a $ 20 and she gave me $ 16 back. Now, maybe she’s not so good at math and maybe 20 cents isn’t a big deal… but WTF? If you are running a business, how do you justify not giving someone their correct change? Anyway, she had an attitude, the area where the food is prepared looked like the basement that’s used for storage in my apt building… and the food was eh. I wouldn’t even go here for free. No thanks!
