I called Big Rob to schedule the removal of a sleeper sofa from our apartment in a brownstone. The guys who came (on time) were very courteous and very efficient. They were very careful during the removal which was not the easiest because of the size and weight of the sofa and the hallway and stairs they had to navigate. The price (75.00) was very reasonable and cheaper than most other services of this type. I would highly recommend them!

Hands down the most affordable, courteous, top-​notch moving service you can get in Hyde Park. Incredibly professional, great pricing, and really cool guys who were actually interesting to chat to! After moving most of my apartment on my own, I was at the end of my rope and just needed 2 furniture pieces moved. They did it promptly within an hour for only $ 80, and both assembled and dissembled my furniture and wrapped the pieces in bubble wrap for safekeeping. I’ve recommended to everyone I know. A+++

I have used Big Rob Hauling twice now, for small moves — a livingroom chair and a huge and dangerously heavy armoire. Big Rob (Robert Campbell, the owner) is professional, courteous, and very good at what he does. Moving this armoire out of an old house, with a very narrow stairway, with nice art on the walls — well, I couldn’t watch. But he and his second hand were so smooth. I highly recommend them. I found them through a person named Curtis Miller on the University of Chicago Marketplace site. But in the future, I’m calling Big Rob directly. You should too!
