Fairly clean and lots of machines, up to 5 load machines. 25 cents to dry for 10 minutes. Free WiFi too, I’ll be back.

I’ve lived in the Uptown area for the past 5 years and I have used a handful of places but this place has been one of the best in the area. The workers kind of keep to themselves for the most part– but the guy that works there is kind of a tool. I refer to him as the laundromat nazi. Other than that the location is convenient and the machines are always clean and work. I have been coming here consistently since I started a few years ago.

a big sign says«pre pay only» for comforters. Which I did. Had to walk across the plaza in the rain to pull money from the ATM as spin cycle won’t take credit/debit. The old guy takes my. Ash and I proceed on my way. I go in and apparently the«log» and my receipt aren’t marked as paid. It’s pre– paid per your instructions — aargh. Well anyway I had to pay AGAIN — and the old guy just gives me a look. I say. «You can say I’m sorry and he ignores me — twice. I will drive 2 miles in this congested city to avoid very going there again. The lady that was working — sweet as could be. The old guy. Total jerk. Owner’s. 1. Put in someone with social skills 2. English speaking would be helpful.(Unless he was playing that can’t speak English game). Because he obviously couldn’t understand me. Am I annoyed. yes I am

DIRTYDIRTYDIRTY ! The machines are in bad condition and are dirty. The floor and folding tables. Restroom didn’t have RUNNINGWATER beside the toilet, no soap, and it’s dark. You have to go out to wash your hands. Wouldn’t come back to this dump again. No A/C and it’s hot outside. They just have a bunch of commercial fans.

The laundry machines themselves were good, save for one whose water wasn’t working. A really nice woman who worked there spotted it before I did and seemed genuinely concerned, so she went to the manager for more info. The manager was not friendly and may not have spoken English(or pretended not to, perhaps). So I’ll dock a star for that awkward encounter.

One of the biggest laundromat in uptown and Edgewater neighborhood with wide array of machines to choose from. They have single, double loader, triple, super and mega loader! You don’t need to bring quarters, they have a coin change vending machine. Dryers are so cheap, 10 mins for a quarter. They also have alteration services and drop off service.

This place has always given me excellent wash and fold service, complete with extra little bags over the folded stacks. They even sort the socks! At under $ 1 per pound, I have never been billed more than 20 bucks and it’s a great deal. The in house facilities are clean, too.
