These people are insane, on one hand, their eat 24 menu lists hot food; and in reality, they are not allowed and they do not sell hot food anymore… Terrible experience, as I had already prepaid for my food, and some immigrant Indian or Pakistani followed me around accusing me of stealing food I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR… Please close shop, and go back to being dishwashers.

If you go into this place thinking that you are going to eat avant-​garde cuisine, you are out of your freakin skull, buddy. This place offers the people’s food, done by the people. Its a nice place to stumble into, buy a pack of stogies and a 40 oz. This place has been revamped recently, they put a new counter in, new place to watch your beer and your sports show. They have pretty good cheeses and good deli meats and will make you a sammy. If you like places that are fancier, bring a mop with you and wear some gloves, otherwise, shut up and order some food and sit down or take it outta there, nobody cares what you think any way.

I love the Gyros here. We got a gyro the first week we moved in for years ago and have loved them ever since. Great flavor in the meat. They also have some very good baklava periodically. I haven’t really tried anything else there because the gyros are too tempting.

I live in Burnham Park Plaza, and we are always running down to Burnham Plaza Mart for eggs, butter, etc. Also, the gyros are awesome. When we have a gyro elsewhere, Burnham Plaza usually wins out. Recommended.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in the South Loop. It’s a «quick mart» kind of store where you can get groceries and alcohol, but the best thing about it is the kitchen. This place has the best gyros I’ve had in forever, and it’s very inexpensive! You can also sit inside and watch TV while enjoying your meal and a beer. They get baklava delivered everyday too. For the price and location you really can’t beat it.
