Don’t get jeans original-hemmed here; although it’s only $ 18, they don’t do it properly.(The new seams of the hem aren’t invisible.) It also took 5 days to get them back when I took mine in. Standard hemming is fine(and $ 10), and also takes 5 days.

Pretty typical. Very little English… but they know they don’t speak it well — just be prepared to mime and bring your thesaurus. I take my dresses, sweaters, and pants here. I’ve had a couple pairs of pants hemmed here– including jeans. They did a pretty good job — no complaints.

The English barrier can be a bit annoying but the couple is very sweet and they do a nice job! You do have to do a bit of miming if you want anything out of the ordinary but, if you go on Saturday the daughter is there and she too is very nice and speaks perfect English. My bigger compliant which is not their fault is the parking circle driveway that is a nightmare. It is in the lower level of a nine rise and is truly ridiculous!

Your typical non-english-speaking dry cleaners; the lady didn’t really understand me when I asked for a black ribbon for a dress, but with a bit of miming we figured it out. The good thing is they do all sorts of sewing and repairs for the non-talented like me. The place is very clean and the lady is attentive. You can get stuff pretty quickly too, not that I need it; I’m very lazy even though it’s right down the street, so no more dry cleaning til ’07! Maybe by then I’ll know how to sew too.
