This was my first visit to Charles Joseph Salon. Kelly Piotrowski really listened to what I wanted and delivered! I had very positive interactions with the receptionist and shampoo girl. Great experience. Thank you! I will return!

Got a great haircut and style from «Roseann» at Charles Joseph Salon in Edison Park. I have naturally curly hair and am hard to please but Roseann gave me a wonderful cut that is easy to take care of and modern. I am very happy. Nice place, small but friendly and efficient. Ashley the receptionist is very nice also!

I love Charles Joseph Salon! Ever since I started going there, I have LOVED my hair! «Bad hair days» are a thing of the past! The staff is fun and friendly. The salon itself is warm, beautiful and welcoming! You will always feel important when you are there! I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new place to get their done!

Charles Joseph Salon is my Third Place kind of destination. I’ve followed Pam through several stages of her styling evolution and extraordinary work ethic over the last 16 years. Throughout I’ve not cheated on her a single time and it’s a real thrill to support her salon in Edison Park. And why not? Love her work, love her warm and welcoming salon, love that she pretends to find me amusing when I’m just another trite wise-​ass, love her soft fake laugh, love that she pretends not to notice my clearly diminishing hair growth, love that everyone loves her, love that she puts up with the likes of me, and in all possible respects love the fact that she’s simply on the planet and kicking up a storm. She is one of those people for whom everyone wishes success and happiness. To go to CJ Salon for her styling time and attention is nothing short of a small monthly vacation away from it all. Add the good humor and attentiveness of Ashley, Joanne, the team of loyal and excellent stylists, and a dash of Moroccan Oil and you’ve got everything a person could want in a salon. In life, even. Go. I guarantee complete satisfaction and will refund any losses incurred from proven misspent time (credit card receipt required).

I can honestly say, I look forward to visiting Charles Joseph Salon to have my hair cut every few weeks. Not only does my stylist (Kelly Piotrowski) do a great job but the staff is professional and I could say I consider them all friends. This place is so full of energy, it can cheer you up on a bad day.
I would say that from the time you call for an appointment all the way through to when you are checking out your style in the mirror you will have a great experience.

I tend to disagree with Debi about her review of Charles Joseph Salon. I followed my hair dresser Linda when she moved to Charles Joseph. I’ve been getting my hair done by Linda since I was in grade school, so I was going to go wherever she went. Charles Joseph is a much more pleasant atmosphere compared to where Linda used to work. At Charles Joseph, they’ll always offer you coffee, water, or some snacks. The salon is intimate and fun to visit. My mom, my aunt, my sister, my cousin and I all go there to get our hair cut and colored by Linda. So, give Charles Joseph a try — for haircuts, I would recommend Linda or Pam (my friends say she’s great too!)

Must unfriendly place in town! The woman at the front desk acts as though she’s doing you a favor … while you pay her! Most of who works there are snooty gossipy stylists, the others have no personality at all and they each seem to know how to do 1 style. I’ll never go back!!!
