Charles Reilly, DPM

Dr Reilly performed surgery on my foot to fix a long standing bone spur and a mildly arthritic joint. During the surgical follow-up visit I mentioned some unexpected symptoms I was experiencing. Dr Reilly became visibly agitated and defensive claiming the symptoms I was experiencing were normal and would resolve themselves over time. I have since seen an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot conditions. Turns out I will need surgery once again to correct the problem that Dr Reilly created. Not recommended!

I went to Dr. Reilly after unsuccessful treatments by orthopods and other podiatrists. Reilly is an expert diagnostician. He gives more specific treatment than the usual referral for a generic looking orthotic.

A flip over some toys laying around left me dazed and with half of my baby toe hanging on by a thread. After getting stitches I set up an appointment with Doctor Reilly. My feet and toe were treated with celebrity treatment and I am positive my injury healed so nicely because of the Way Dr. Reilly handled everything.

Overall, a good experience.
I went in with heel pain. Dr. Reilly was professional and courteous. He uses medical students and residents, but they were very nice and helpful. Dr. Reilly made temporary orthotics our of my sneaker insoles. I left with a lot of knowledge on my condition as well as a plan of atttack: ice, rest, advil, stretching exercises, and my temporary orthotics. One of the treatments for my condition is an injection into the heel. I was pleased that he did not recommend that on the first visit. He was willing to try all the conservative measures before going towards the injection (ouch!). I have a follow up appointment in two weeks, and we will see what happens.

I would wholly concur with Rob L.‘s positive rating of Dr. Reilly. I had no prior recommendation for him, I just went in cold. I don’t have any serious foot problems and the maintenance the Doctor performs for my tootsies keeps them healthy and feeling fine.

I’ve been having leg and feet issues for quite some time, especially when I would go running. As time went on more and more problems started to appear their ugly head. Urg. Pain came and knocked on the door, but being an idiot I would work through these pains. Well one fine Mother’s day morning I woke up feeling fine, (well, hungover), then I started to walk… hmmm… that is a new pain. So I decided to not run… then a few days later that pain kicked it up a few notches and I felt a familiar feeling… stress fracture pain feeling. Aggravated, I stopped running, plus the issue in my ankle and a tendon the size of an earthworm made me stop either. Weeks went by and things got better and my thoughts went back to running. I still had concerns about working out, a friend suggested I go see Dr Reilly to get his opinion. «Go see him, you will really like him.» I have to say I do. He thoroughly went over every possible thing with my foot. From where the area of pain was, what it could possibly be, asking questions along the way before finally coming to his conclusion. He knew I knew a little about anatomy of the foot, but not a whole lot, yet he went through the entire probable cause of the injury. He said my two, (yes, TWO!!) stress fractures had healed up, one of which was in its final callus stage, and how the sheath of tissues surround my tendons around my ankle were so fired up. Offered me solution and new orthodics. Always making me feel at ease, always making me feel comfortable and always listening to everything I had to say and made sure he answered all my questions. Plus parking is easy, they have a lot and street. Hopefully I don’t ever need to go to him again, but if I do, I will know I will be getting a excellent doctor.
