I recently purchased a new home and had to get a locksmith. I was referred to Charlie by Elf Locksmith — Elf being an Oak Lawn locksmith who received good reviews here on Unilocal,but was unavailable due to a family emergency.
Charlie fit me in the same day I called, and within about an hour he was done. He switched things around so it was a little more logical and had good suggestions for improving safety and convenience. He even saved me money — I was planning to replace all the locks and knobs but he suggested fixing and lubricating them instead. Now they work perfectly.
All told, I got four doors (four knobs and three deadbolts) redone including a couple of new sets, plus all the keys I wanted, and it cost less than $ 200. It took about an hour and it was done the same day I called. Seems like a good deal to me.
