I took a fused glass ornament class here and it was a blast. Sarah Beth is a great instructor. She’s very hands on, as well as charming and fun. She put me right at ease, even though I’d never worked with glass before. She made the whole class feel confident at each step, and thanks to her tips, I LOVE my ornaments. The studio is lovely and the whole experience was delightful. I’ll definitely be back for one of her classes.

We took a class here through Dabble for the ornament making. I was a little nervous going in because I had never done anything remotely close to it before nor am I very creative. The class was sooo much fun and Leslie was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this class.

A year later and I’m back for another class! I love it! I want to come back for more learning but my schedule has been as full as Leslie’s! I need to practice my ornament making :) Heaven knows that my little glass pieces are a bit odd shaped. This would be a great date place, or a fun night out for friends, or just go by yourself and know that you will be warmly welcomed!

I took a class here through Dabble and it was great! It is a small studio and they have very nice equipment(although I have no idea what glass-making stuff looks like other than here). There was plenty of room for our class of 5 and others who were using the studio at the same time. I am looking forward to checking out other classes that they offer. Based on their website and the Dabble class, they have options for true beginners or those with more experience. Very knowledgeable and personable teachers– I was a little intimidated by the idea of working with hot glass but after a few demos and some hands-on teaching, I had a lot of fun.

I love the unpretentiousness of CGC. A wonderful group of talented instructors that take the time needed to ensure one has a positive experience. So many classes to choose from, all levels. Kids too. A great place to go with friends or to meet new people. I’m a fan.

Chicago Glass Collective is a great studio to learn about glass techniques and enjoy the company of other creatives. The studio has a lot of space, big windows for sunlight, and offers a friendly vibe. I am enjoying my time there doing glass fusing and casting. The rotating workshops always keep it fresh by introducing new techniques to try. It is such a welcoming place whether you are new to glass art or experienced.
