i just moved to this neighborhood from central illinois, and i had to admit that this location is really small. they offer limited selection of books, and no movies DVD. just like one Unilocaler said, i, too, felt underwhelmed. on a positive note, the staff was helpful and friendly.

Is it the hippest most modern branch library on the north side? No, but it’s my local library, and it is there when you need to return a book you got from a cooler branch, or reserve a book. Let’s not be too b*tchy towards this branch, they are making do as best they can.

Well, I wish I could tag people so this could elicit some response from Chicago’s Library maven; I was rather underwhelmed with the selection. The bathroom worked but was essentially designed to put you on center stage for the entire library. The staff were efficient and helpful, but that can’t make up for the rather barebones, survivalist feel of this place. Ah well. Guess I better head south and see how the facilities add up.
