I was a bit apprehensive about Chicagoland Conceal Carry Institute because it was so new but a friend recommended it and I’m glad I went this route. Mr. Schmidt is an articulate instructor and is funny and informative.
I’ve had previous experience with firearms but many in the class did not and were obviously timid and nervous being in the presence of a gun. By the end of class you can absolutely see the confidence when they realize that they’re in control, not the firearm.
The owners are great people as well. I’ve recommended this place to several others already. Location and pricing are terrific also.

I appreciated the unconventional teaching style of Mr. Schmidt (beware he is quite sexist.) I’m kidding Mr. Schmidt. The class was engaging, very informative and ran along smoothly. He has a lot of information and is willing to share with participants. Although it’s not a requirement adding fingerprinting service would be a plus.
