Choc Choc Cosmetic

My wife wanted to check out this new cosmetic store, so we we made the trek out from the burbs today.
This is a very cute, boutique cosmetic store specializing in Korean skin care products that you can’t find at mainstream American cosmetic stores.
Very cute layout, unique and cute products that make you want to buy too many things simply for the aesthetics of the packaging (see pics).
Leah, the store manager was very helpful with explaining the various products to my wife and was very friendly and helpful throughout our whole visit. I even got a free coffee while I roamed around the store. Very excellent customer service.
My wife left very happy with her purchases and our experience there. We would definitely come back and recommend this to others seeking unique skin care products.

Awesome cosmetics gem in Lakeview! I am new to Korean beauty products as well and I appreciated the employees and owner who explained what each product does. Everything is so unique and different than anything you would find in a regular cosmetics store. The prices are really affordable and everything is high quality. I will definitely be back to try more products!

I stumbled upon Choc Choc by accident. The store is among a short strip of stores on Belmont, but the bright and cute storefront drew me in right away. As soon as I stepped in, I was welcomed by the store associates, who are sweet and helpful without being too pushy! I am a total k-​beauty novice, so they patiently answered all my questions.
As for the products themselves, there is such an amazing variety of products. They do carry fantastic make up, but I think the real stars of Choc Choc are the face masks and skincare products. As I said before, I am a total novice, so they gifted me with a free sample of one of their face masks. I so fell in love with the mask — I do the Makgeolli mask on a weekly basis now! This time of year, my skin is totally destroyed by the cold, dry wind, so it’s fantastic to have a weekly mask that helps seal in the moisture and brighten my face!
I also bought a set of skincare products (Honey) for my mom and my boyfriend’s mom. They cannot stop raving about the set. The ingredients are effective but safe, and the set is such a great way for our moms to pamper themselves at home!
In short — if you’re looking for a way to improve your skin care regimen or use higher quality, name brand make up without breaking the bank and LOVE supporting small biz, look no further! The owner and associates who work there are sweethearts, so pay them a visit ASAP!

Have you ever seen a Korean woman under the age of 60 with dry, wrinkly, gray skin? No, I promise you haven’t, thanks to great Korean products (and well, probably some genetics… which would work for my ½ Korean face). That being said, I am so happy Choc Choc opened! I have loved Korean skincare and makeup products for a long time. They have the purest ingredients and actually protect and improve your skin. Choc Choc is especially unique because their products are super competitive in pricing (yay!), they have a great variety of products, and most importantly, the customer service is the best! Everyone who works there is extremely warm, friendly, and super helpful.
Basically, you will never leave Choc Choc with a frown on your (soon to be well moisturizd) face.

What a delight! I’m new to Korean/​Asian beauty products and was given a fantastic tutorial. Customer service was great and am grateful that the ladies in the store took time to explain all of the different options. I thought the prices are very good. I looked up some of the items online and noticed that the shop’s prices were either comparable or more competitive than anything online.
Really fun and interesting line of products. I recommend trying some face masks and BB creams. You can find the shop on Instagram and they have some helpful posts that showcase their inventory and how to use various products.
Given the shop’s aesthetics, variety of products and customer service, I had a great visit. Looking forward to using my new makeup and face care as well as returning in the future!

I’ve been wanting to stop by for awhile now and check out this place. Bought some fun sheet masks and will be back to check out some more goodies. So happy to have found a Korean Cosmetics shop so close to home!
