I am a big fan of owner operated businesses. From the first time I entered this little hardware store i have been as faithful as I can. There are two gentlemen that are religious, I won”t or can’t speculate on their religion but they where cool beards and that is always a plus with me. On every occasion when entering they ask me what I need and go get it. This is great for two reasons, the place is small and seemingly disorganized. What appears to me as disorganization is there system, and it has yet to fail me. A shower in my rental wouldn’t shut off. Within entering Clear Ridge I had a $ 30 brand new faucet kit, it had been in their store for an eon and he gave it to me for cost. A similar faucet at Home Desperate would have set me back $ 75, plus I would have to look for it, walk a mile inside and outside the store. Then hate myself for not shopping locally. Many of the«smalls» you know, the little hooks, washers, and blades are much cheaper than Home deepshit or their equally crappy competitors. Remember kids, it is way more important that you move your business to a local guy who will actually reap the rewards of your spendings. When you enter one of these small shops always ask for help, that is what will separate the men from the boys.
