The curry chicken salad is the best around, along with the lemon chicken, chicken fingers and a majority of their sides. Jay, the newer owner, is very helpful if you have any questions about the cheese selections. Also, be sure to check out their freezer for some great appetizers — they save a lot of time when planning get-togethers and always receive rave reviews.

Tasty chocolate croissants, but startlingly bad service. I’m not too demanding in this department – I don’t expect gushing, just basic politeness. Unfortunately, the staff here couldn’t deliver that. When I politely asked whether I could have some coffee to go with my croissant, the man behind the register replied«God, no. Anything but that!» Now, maybe it was a joke gone wrong – but his unsmiling visage, and complete lack of eye contact, made that seem unlikely. Thanks, but a simple«no» would have sufficed. I prefer my pastries without the bizarre and unwarranted hostility.

OK, I’m reviewing the Deli part too! This is a great place to get a lunch combo or really nice panini for lunch at a nice price about $ 7.00. You are right about the service, but I truly think the man is just shy because if you talk to him he really opens up. They have started baking bread on Tues.- Sat as the Breadsmith(their immediate next-door neighbor) just went out of business and their breads are tasty.

Nice little deli with interesting foods. Great brie, ham, and fig glaze sandwiches are wonderful. Check them out on a nice sunday for some pumpkin icecream or lovely deli treats.

This review is specific to the on site deli(haven’t used their catering.) They have amazing curry chicken, great paninis, and seriously kick-ass lemon and almond bars. It’s the kind of place where you want to eat everything… we go often for a carry-out lunch, and have not been disappointed. The staff can be kind of rude, though, which always takes me by surprise. It’s like you’re bugging them by coming into the shop. It’s pricey, but worth it. There’s no place to sit and eat on site. They also have a yummy selection of random drinks, like Fizzy Lizzy sodas in many varieties.

This is NOT a review of their catering service but simply an observation of their store. It is cute and always has a cute window but once inside I get confused. the cheese selection is OK– nothing special and while there are a couple of great looking desserts they aren’t anything special either. Most of their selections can be found elsewhere for a freindly price and the gentleman working behind the counter could be freindlier as well. It looks like they are still trying to figure out who they are…
