5⁄5 stars for sure! The food is delicious, and served in great and fulfilling portions, for a very good price! The interior is very unique and warm. Makes you want to stay for hours. The coffee is amazing, and doesn’t taste like cheap, water downed, burnt coffee from d*k*n d*n*ts! And the price was extremely inexpensive, considering the quality of the coffee. They have many choices, and flavors you can choose from. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I can have a red velvet latte! Also, I’m not the biggest fan of d*nkin because the coffee never tastes well prepared. This isn’t the case at the coffee bean. Overall the place is extremely good and satisfactory.

I came in to check what this place was about. It’s right next to a subway and a jewel. I paid $ 6.50 for a croissant ham and cheese sandwich. Not worth it. Go to jewel, buy a croissant and make yourself a sandwich and I guarantee you’ll make it better and for less. It’s basically a glorified Subway. Blegh the lady wasn’t friendly at all, no smile, she seemed like a robot.

The food is not worth the price. If i want to eat burnt hash browns and dry bacon i can do it at home for cheaper. Plus NOTABASCOSAUCE… what place doesnt have tabacso sauce or something close to it. NEVERCOMINGBACK!

It was nice to see another indie coffee shop in the area. I decided to give them a try. Like other reviews I have read, the place is nice, but that is about it. Service was not too friendly to me. Plus they had to go to the back to make my latte? I found this odd, since the espresso machine is usually located where customers can see it. I just found the place to be okay, Probably will not go back again.

I was surprised to see Coffee Bean Café only 2 storefronts down from a Dunkin Donuts. Only a Subway is nestled between the two. I like trying new coffee places, so I chose Coffee Bean over DD. Coffee Bean also has a menu of sandwiches, salads, and even pierogi. I ordered a praline latte, but was disappointed to learn they were out of praline. I went with almond instead. The coffee wasn’t mind blowing, and I don’t know what coffee they brew, but my latte was good. If I lived in the area, I would be more likely to go to DD for my coffee fix, unless I found something I absolutely loved at CBC. A small latte was $ 3, which isn’t terrible, but with DD next door I wonder what the fate of Coffee Bean will be in a year from now. They also close much earlier, at 6:00 p.m. The interior is pretty boring. There are a few tables, a bar with stools at the window, and some comfy chairs. There’s a TV, which was showing news when I visited, and it’s pretty quiet in here.

It’s a pretty solid neighborhood coffee shop. There’s another excuse for not patronizing D*nk*n D*n*ts, which is a couple of stores down on the same strip mall. There’s parking available since it’s located on the Narragansett side of Dunning Square. They have light lunch menus, including panini, bagels, pastries, and soup. However, hubby and I were in need of our coffee fix. We had 16 oz. white mocha and latte. They had those made-to-order. If you want super express service like most Americans like to do, go to DD then. I HATE being in a hurry for coffee or food in general. As a foodie, taking time and slowing down for having a relaxing time is SO, SO important. I felt that Coffee Bean Café provided me the relaxation I needed in the morning when I had a day off from work. They don’t have lots of seating, but setting up the high stools facing Narragansett is a nice touch. I love people-watching and today was a perfect day for it! The owner is a friendly Polish gentleman. Thank you having a place to sit down, have a cup of coffee, and chill in the city when I see everyone else rush like a chicken with the head cut off. I do that for five(5) days a week with my day job, and I don’t see the point doing this if it isn’t necessary.

Our new favorite place in the hood! The staff is very friendly, they can accommodate to your needs(I’m vegetarian). The food is good and has a very home made tasty flavor. The place is super clean and there is no problem with parking. We like to go and get brunch or the soup and panini por $ 5.50. They need more tables but overall is one of the best options for breakfast/brunch in the area.

A new spot in the neighborhood thought we would give it a try. Cute little shop, clean and friendly staff. Unfortunately that’s the only nice things I can say about the place. It’s definitely not a sit down restaurant it only has three small tables with three chairs at each table. $ 12.99 for a breakfast special that consists of cold greasy hash browns, eggs, toast and pancakes or French toast. The food is brought out in stages, orders for everyone are not brought out together and a good 10 minutes after your food is brought do they bring utensils and any condiments for your meal. There is no wait staff to speak of the cook comes out to bring the food. There’s a big disconnect from the person taking your order and the cook. The people running the shop are not professional restaurant servers or cooks. Don’t waste your time or money.

I randomly found this place while looking for a Dunkin Donuts. Unfortunately, the only starbucks in this area is inside the target, inside the mall and that place is HORRENDOUS. Anyway, Coffee Bean is in a strip mall next to a subway and DD. The space is very clean, neat and they have a pretty big menu. They also have sandwiches and pastries which I could not try. I came pretty late in the day and they were sold out. I had a regular iced coffee with an extra shot. It was strong and he let me pour my own half and half. They guys behind the counter are friendly and fast. And its way cheaper than starbucks or dunkin. I will definitely be returning before my evening classes for a pick-me-up.

Just visiting a friend and decided to go local instead of the usually large chain here in Chicago. The guys here are super nice! Very cozy. The croissants are baked fresh everyday and they are aaaaamaaazing!!! If you in the neighborhood I would highly recommend it. And they’ve only been open for 3 weeks :)
