We went here after having terrible service at emporium on Milwaukee. Service was great. Came here to celebrate a friends birthday. The Fishbowls were Delicious! Its 2 floors and music was great! We dance the night away!

The music here at night on the weekends is amazing. Cool crowd and some really hot ladies! Also. Fresh custom made brick oven pizzas coming out to ur specifications all night long! Great and comfy vibe! I think there was a small cover fee to get in here late night.

Small little bar in Wicker Park but don’t let this fool you. This place is awesome. Plenty of great beers on tap and they offer a free mini pizza with every drink purchase… unbeatable deal!

This place is great to go to for a few drinks if you want to start your night in Wicker Park. I definitely adored it but it isn’t a place to spend your night at, but not a whole lot of bars are anyway! Enjoy a beer and pizza here before heading off to bar hop down Milwaukee!

The best aspect about this place is the consistency of their service and the integrity they value of it. I have never, among numerous times, encountered a negative experience. Service is always impeccable, helpful and friendly-​especially the bartender Jorge. Again, always a dope time here.

I would like to say this was enjoyable. but i really can’t. There was never 2 floors opened up. there was no costume contest, all of which was advertised, and they closed the bathrooms down at 1:45. When questioning the owner about this i was escorted to the door and pushed out, Causing around $ 200 damage to the electronics of my costume. good thing i am a enginner so i can solder and rewire myself. You advertised your event falsely, you were rude, and you damaged my property…
Ohh and if you are the owner and ever review this. PLEASE, get in touch with me. Lets spar… legit spar in a ring. I owe you one for the push when i was in costume after which you ran behind your 4 bouncers when you saw i was pissed off as i watched a lot of my handwork undone on my Halloween costume.

Music was good but when I went to the bar to get my second drink, one of the bartenders was rude, honestly because of that I don’t want to come back!

Horrible customer service. The staff is unnecessarily rude to customers & drinks are overpriced. In other establishments I have always been allowed to send a drink back & get something else if I didn’t like it. Here if you don’t like the drink they will argue w/​you, call security to escort you out (after you’ve paid a cover) & you will still be charged even if you don’t sign your receipt or drink the disgusting drink that you didn’t want. I could see if we had asked for a refund, but we just wanted to swap it out for an equally priced drink b/​c we didn’t like what he made us. Very unreasonable. I will never go back!

The bartender «George» is a real douchebag. You’ll know him by his feathered fedora and lame tattoos. He jacked up the prices on my drinks for no reason. Acts like hes a big man on campus. reality check… you’re a hack bartender in wicker park… Great accomplishment! If anything he serves a purpose in warning you what will become of you if you don’t go to school. Terrible terrible staff in this place.
Crocodile is the harbinger of the new wicker park; Generic overpriced garbage.

Crocodile is your typical bar/​club combo but with a twist. With every drink purchase, you can redeem your receipt for a free pizza! I’ve never eaten/​ordered the pizza, but it’s a nice way to stick out from all the other places on the street. The bathroom can be quite disgusting and the line is usually long since there’s only one bathroom for each gender.

It’s okay… Chairs and booths kinda shitty but the music is good and chill environment.

I love tearing up the dance floor at Crocodile. The basement is where it’s at to bust some major moves and pull off a fun dance party. When you’re finished burning a million calories from your awesome dance moves they offer some pretty solid free pizza. I hate that we have to pay a $ 10 cover but well worth it for a fun night.

The Dj was mediocre.
The drinks were more expensive then they deserved to be. I don’t think I’ll come back here of my own accord. Also the pizza… 5 thumbs down.

I used to check out crocodile often back in the day… but that was awhile back.
I just went there recently on a Tuesday night was pleasantly surprised how packed it got after 10:30 or so. If you’re looking to dance on a Tuesday night, go to Crocodile!

Came here with a group of 10+ for my birthday! We almost left cos the bouncer told us that the cover was $ 5. Why the hell would I pay the cover and for drinks? He realized that my group was so large, they’d be losing out on money if we left, so he told us it was fine.
Upon entering, the place looked small and narrow – so cramped cos it was filled with people. I had several jack&cokes – those were $ 9. No one ever told us about the free pizzas… would’ve been nice since we were all drunk. It took us 30 minutes to find out there was a downstairs. The music is much better down there. A mix of EDM and hip-​hop. I was happy that they were blasting the AC. There’s a bar on both floors so that was nice.
It was annoying that if we had to use the bathroom (only upstairs), and wanted to go back down, you’d have to wait in line again. After a while, the DJ downstairs started playing song after song from the 80s. I have no idea why he didn’t stop… everyone stopped dancing.
All-​in-​all, decent if there’s no cover.

Returned for a fishbowl and some pizza and beers on a Friday night after dinner. The pizzas are small so we considered it dessert. The fishbowl (I think it was the Shark Attack) was very sweet and didn’t taste like there was much alcohol in it, much like other drinks I’ve had here, so we switched to beers next. Would like to come back and check out a show downstairs next time though.
Also, why does the frozen drink machine never work? Their frozen cocktails are good!

I don’t know why anyone would pay a cover to get in here and stand around. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but really. I used to come here with my friends and they didn’t charge a cover, it was awesome. I think the people working there used to be a lot cooler too. Last night was a total bust. Female bartender is rude, doorman was rude.
I love the music in here, but the staff is no fun, and that’s what makes or breaks an experience for me. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing friends here or coming back. There are lots of places to drink, dance and eat pizza in Chicago, go somewhere where the staff is cool!

We were told by the bartender that the fishbowl drinks are sweet — and sweet would be an understatement. It literally tasted like we were drinking water and splenda. We also ordered cocktails but we weren’t too impressed w/​them, either. Like my friend Morganne B. said, the drinks here are pretty weak. Note: I can normally look past a poorly made mixed drink if I know I’m getting my money’s worth in alcohol… but unfortunately that wasn’t the case this time. The free cheese pizza that comes w/​every drink purchase is good (for bar food), and the staff is really nice. Although I liked those 2 things about Crocodile, I probably won’t be coming back.

Stop here for a girls night out. The place is pretty small and it was packed. The drinks were a bit pricey. But they had great music going on. We stayed for about an hour and left because it got really crowded. They were also charging a cover to get in which makes no sense for a place like that. Is not a place I see myself going back to, not impressed.

Good place to go if you want cheap brunch food with cheap booze. Omelets for 5 $, eggs bacon and sausage for $ 5. Also 5 $ irish coffee and coffee with baileys. They were also advertising 10 $ bottomless mimosas and bloody marries. Nothing super special about the drinks or food, just a good place if you want to get sloshed on a Sunday afternoon. I didn’t encounter the «rude» bartender people are talking about.
Would come back for brunch but not sure I would come back for their nightlife, as people are complaining about some rude staff members.
