It’s food. Besides the mediocre food and slow service, nice place. Once we ordered, the food was delivered quickly. Enjoyed the view of the Tarmac and watching the shuffling of planes . If it is good food and service you are looking for I am sure there are better choices. Looks like a fun place to have a couple of beers.

3hour delay and decided to try the nachos. Hardly any chips and too much cheese that was not completely melted. Skip this place and find someplace else. However the waitress was good.

Very rude long haired blonde female server. I got up and left after she first ignored me three times. Then, she told me someone else would be my server before coming back and saying she would serve me but it would take a long, long time. Another male server took pity on me and brought me a menu. I travel often for work and I have never been treated so badly, not even in Europe.

Terrible food. No other way to put it. Had the chicken pear panini on the recommendation of the server. The piece of chicken was paper thin, over cooked and thus tough as leather. Fries were under cooked. Terrible is the best description I ca muster. Service was ok. Ambiance blows, but it’s at the airport so…

I met an interesting character at the airport who insisted I have to try a Chicago dog. And me being a foodie thought, what the heck. Gotta do it once. She escorted me to the best Chicago dog at O’hare. I have had a good number of hot dogs in my time and they are all just okay for processed meat in a bun. My favorite dog is at Costco and some high end dog joints in NYC. But I had never tried a Chicago dog. So we were on a mission to get this experience under my belt. The spot she had frequented must have been a mirage because we searched through 2 terminals and could not find it so we settled on Cubs Bar & Grill. The bartender guaranteed their dogs were delicious. So tried it out. The Chicago dog is certainly different. It was loaded with a lot of uncommon toppings such as real tomatoes, a quarter slice of a whole pickle and hot peppers. The hotdog itself was super tasty, the bun was so soft and fluffy, and the toppings were unique and added to the already unique experience. It was all topped with mustard which is my choice of condiment. I’ll totally vouch for the Chicago dog. It’s good! I will definitely have to add this to my food list the next visit to the windy city.

Our server at 6:30 wearing a black shirt Female was very unpleasant and took Our order and never returned. Getting Thru the TSA line hoping for a nice Breakfast I expected a server who was At least pleasant. This lady should not be serving with The attitude she had today. Our server was Danille You would be better served by finding Another place for breakfast

I’m slowly making my way through all of O’Hare’s eateries. Cub Bar 7 Grill is located in terminal 2, which is a very short walk from terminal 3. The restaurant had a good crowd when I arrived and had a seat yourself sign. Sadly I made a poor seating decision and sat down in the section with the worst waiter. Luckily the waiter a section over saw my frustration and stepped in. I ordered a salad which was delicious, the ingredients were fresh and the dressing was served on the side. I also got a side of fries because they looked so good, and they were. The fries came out very hot. Cubs Bar & Grill has good food and a wide variety of it. It’s worth checking out, but not if you’re on a time crunch.

Decent airport restaurant with a view of the tarmac and a location that’s convenient to the American Eagle gates. Goose Island Green Line pale ale tops the short list of draft beers. The twin Chicago dogs with a side of crispy fries make a tasty lunch. Even though the all-beef dogs didn’t have that char-grilled flavor that you’ll find downtown, the toppings were for the most part faithfully executed, right down to the crucial sport peppers — although I didn’t taste much celery salt. The prices are normal for an airport. All in all, not a bad airport meal.

How do you always«run out» of hot dogs! I try to order this every week I am here. My success rate is less than 25%.

Everyone calm down. It’s airport food. 3 stars is close to as high as you can go and I’m going there; which is hard for me because I’m a die-hard STL Cardinals fan. Anything Cubs is mildly repulsive to me, however the food here was delightfully surprising. Farmer’s breakfast. 3 over easy eggs(cooked well), 3 pieces of bacon(cooked just right), and sliced Red Potatoes. Decent breakfast indeed. Service was a bit suspect, but my waitress was serving at least 7 tables, all in a hurry. Not great… descent. And in airport food… that’s great.

Burger and buffalo wings were surprisingly great. Nice ambiance to chill out. Also great: our server, Gus/Konstantin, who provided 10,000x the customer service and kindness of O’Hare and American Airlines combined. Thank you for making my day, Konstantin.

Cubs Bar & Grill did exactly what I needed it to: waste time before my flight. My sandwich was A-OK(An interesting pear and chicken panini) as was my monster Green Line beer. If this were outside of an airport it’d probably get 2 stars, but beggars can’t be choosers!

The Good: Nothing The Bad: Everything. Bison burger was trash. Service was awful. Just tried to get something to eat quickly at the airport, what garbage. Bison burger overcooked, drenched in oil and tasteless. Service was equally as poor, there was no one there and serve spent most of her time talking to coworkers instead of working. Another airport fail, don’t waste your time or money here.

So I’m walking around the terminal in O’Hare with an hour to kill and I was starving. Being a baseball guy and having a buddy who is an obnoxious Cubs fan I figured it would be worth it to go here and take a picture at the very least. I sat down and waited for my waitress to acknowledge me and that took quite a while. The place was not busy, she just wasn’t that interested. I ordered a bottle of Goose Island Honker Ale because their tap beer was very limited. I then order a ribeye steak sandwich and fries. She asked how I wanted it cooked and I said medium. The sandwich and fries arrived and the steak hung over the bread as in this thing looked huge. Well once I got into it, I realized most of it was fat. Steak fat on a sandwich is awful. Also the steak was cooked well done. I didn’t care too much because hey it’s an airport and the flavor was good. The fries were thin and crispy as well. As I was halfway through my sandwich the waitress arrived asking if I’d like another beer… sure. After I finished eating and drinking my beer, I waited a while before the waitress appeared again with my bill. I was shocked! The steak sandwich was 14.00 which I knew but the 2 bottles of beer were 14.98. WTH? I expect that if I’m in Wrigley Field or getting a lap dance but not here. I can buy a 12 pack of the same beer for that price. I’m all for mark ups but 6 – 1 ratio is absurd. The price of my beer dropped them from 3 to 2 stars. I came for the Loveable Losers that are the Cubs but I left as the only Loveable Loser.

Da Beers. You’re at O’Hare Airport … either coming, going, or stuck … and you’re gonna need a beer over by dere. The Cubs Bar & Grill said«Chi-Caaw-Go» like no other place in the terminal, so, I set to getting da beer and da dogs. A pair of Chicago-style Hot Dogs(Pickles, Tomato, Mustard, and Pepper) with Fries is the restaurant specialty and were strongly recommended by the server. Don’t over think this cause Cubs Bar & Grill is still just a bar at the airport made noticeable thanks to Cubs memorabilia. This is anudder review approved by Bill Swerski’s Superfans because«Da dogs» were filling, but«Da beers» were better.

On a recent extended layover in O’Hare, I was looking for a place to enjoy a late lunch & with the Cubs on a hot streak, I figured I’d give this place a try. I found myself a seat & was approached by a server fairly quickly. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich & fries, which were nothing special — the chicken was dry & the fries were overcooked. You’re paying more for the ambience & the theme of the place than the food, but you do want something decent for your money & this was just above average. The Cubs deserve better. Even for an airport tie-in.

Cubs Bar and Grill was a little off the beaten path on a Wednesday morning before 10am. After checking out many of the airport beer menus, this one turned out to be one of the best. I mean they had Bell’s Two-Hearted bottles! So we ended up eating breakfast here as well. It was fine. It was neither bad nor good, but I suppose necessary for sustenance on a long day of travel. I went with the egg beaters omelet with pepper, onion tomato and cheese. It came with potatoes, which were fairly undercooked. It also came with toast, which was cooked to perfection. I wish I could have gotten my sustenance elsewhere because it wasn’t particularly enjoyable, but it could have been worse. Price-wise, the breakfast platters were a little lower than other places. The service was quick enough. And I was happy with the beer list. All and all, an okay experience for an airport.

Good airport location for food and drinks. Plenty of seating. Took a little while to be seen by waiter but once engaged service was fine. Ordered vodka soda which was decently strong. At recommendation of waiter I got chicken quesadilla. Came out hot, excellent proportions with nice amount of side options(guac, sour cream, black Olives, jal, and salsa). Although it was nothing special(the ingredients all store brand) it was good and got the job done.

Here’s how we did the review for Cubs: We give it four stars for an airport restaurant, two stars for a normal place, and then averaged the score. We hate airport food and normally just try to find a Krystals/White Caste(yeah, we get those cravings), but we were starving and had a 2 hour layover. The other four places to eat around Cubs looked horrible and way overpriced, so decided to at least have a sit down meal. We were pleasantly surprised by Cubs. The food was decent and not too expensive(compared to airport prices). I had a hamburger and my wife had a buffalo chicken sandwich. We both had a tap beer(forgot the name of it, but they were out of our first choice). Good sized portions, cooked well, and had fresh tomato/lettuce. You seat yourself and the wait staff takes your order. Our waitress had a frown on her face the entire meal and we got the feeling that she’d rather be anyplace else in the world, but she did a decent job. The place wasn’t busy and it was a tad slow for airport service, so make sure you have at least an hour layover before sitting down. We hope to never use the O’Hare Airport again. Every flight we’ve ever taken through here has been delayed or canceled(about ten in total). However, if we are hungry and have a layover, we’d consider Cubs again.
