I’m a person who appreciates the grandeur of buildings from the Gilded Age and Curtiss Hall in the Fine Arts Building is a gem! From our perch on the 10th floor we could see the lakeshore from Museum Campus all the way to Navy Pier, with a view of Buckingham Fountain(at night!) straight ahead of us. It was beautiful. Inside the building, little details such as crown molding, 100 year old heating vents, and a rickety old elevator(with attendant) held my attention. Curtiss Hall is a delightful little peek into the past.
