Finally I have time to review this place. We came here on Memorial Day. Food was okay but service was terrible. Only one bartender/server. He was not attentive at all not even say hi when we sat there!!! Never come back again :(Mehhhhhh

Large second-floor bar/restaurant area with«Midway» gaming area. Nice compromise between me and the fiancé about going out to watch basketball. Food was good, nothing spectacular; burgers and fries to watch the game. I skipped the cocktails this time, mainly because I was annoyed not to find a single price anywhere on the drink menu filled with«supersize mojitos» and«glow kones» which signals to me that I’m gonna end up paying way too much for a novelty drink so might as well not bother. Waitress was sweet but very slow and kind of uninformed and had to keep going to the bar and kitchen to ask basic questions like«What’s the seasonal beer?» The games were better. They definitely have some things you can’t find at HQ or FTW, like a beer pong shooting game, 4 person air-hockey, giant claw machine, new Ghostbusters shooting game, etc. More kid-friendly than the other gaming spots; lots of little ones running around, even Sunday night at 9. My only complaint was the game pricing; you buy whole points, the games all take some decimal, like 6.6 or 9.4 credits or some BS like that. If you sell whole credits, take whole credits for crap’s sake, one more way to screw people out of money when you know damn well you can’t use 0.3 credits to play anything. Promo for all games ½ price on Wednesdays, so would be a good day to return.

Just from waiting in line we decided to leave. It was like a ghetto nightclub. They seemed like they needed to be checking ppl for weapons. After 15 minutes of waiting in line and hearing ppl swearing and discussing they blocks(lol) we decided it wasn’t for us, left and went elsewhere. I guess from reading the reviews they’d only attract a super urban, get shot up crowd. I’d HATE to be a waitress there.

I don’t normally write negative reviews, but my experience at this location was horrible. As soon as me and my fiancé arrived we waited to be seated, and no one acknowledged us. The first server looked at us and ignored us because one of her friends stopped by. She gave her a hug talked to her and watched us stand there waiting to be seated and then she walked away. Then it looked like a manager was approaching us but then also walked away. We kept waiting and still no one came up to us. It wasn’t even busy yet. I spotted another server assisting a table, so we waited to see if maybe when she was done she was going seat us. Still nothing! So my fiancé and I decided to seat ourselves and grabbed a menu. Another server walked in asking another server which table was next and she told her«I guess this table and another table.» As she was standing by our table she made a remark. «They decided to just seat their selves.» She laughed and walked away. Finally a server came to our table and asked if we wanted anything because he was about to leave his shift. So we ordered appetizers and we were about to order our meal but he was gone for a while. He came back with the appetizers and left really quick. So me and my fiancé decided we weren’t going to order anything else because we had already been waiting way too long. It took them about 30 mins to take our order and took for ever to bring our appetizers. They are over priced as well especially for the food that they served. We ordered spinach dip and it tasted like the spinach came from the can and we ordered pepperoni pretzel pieces and the pretzel pieces were really hard. Our server was really lucky we gave him a tip because at least he was polite. If you go to Dave and Busters do not dine in! It’s only worth to go to play the games. I’m very disappointed with their customer service, and I still can’t believe the manager ignored us as well.

I came here with my brother and a friend one night to kill some time because it is close by my house. The first thing you will notice is a distinct smell of vanilla or chocolate which is even noticeable from outside which I assume is to mask the smell of molded beer or something worse. I did not understand the layout… the bottom floor seems to be abandoned or not used. We bought some tickets and then went to play. Most of the games were sticky or dirty or wet… but I first assumed we had followed a party. Even so, the employees were laid back and it did not seem like anyone was cleaning up so this might be how it usually looks. From what my friend said, it is.

It is not often I want to give a business a negative review, but this location is worthy of it. Let me give you an abbreviated time line of events: 1. Started with drinks and games for about two hours($ 165 spent) 2. Put our names in for a table for dinner and we were told 10 minute wait. Thirty minutes later we finally had a table(not a big deal, it’s Saturday) 3. Sit down and 25 minutes later we finally stop a server and ask if someone is going to take our order. Server said he could do it if no one else would. He then proceeded to bring us waters. Just as he did that, our server finally showed up and apologized. 4. We ordered drinks and my aunt ordered a Diet Coke. He brought more waters and a DR. PEPPER. Then he went to get a DC and when he came back we finally ordered. We ordered an appetizer and our entrees. 5. About 5 minutes before our food came out, we got our drinks. Then, of course, our appetizer came out with the entrée(which I ordered a turkey burger but was brought a turkey sandwich). They said they had grabbed the wrong order and cooked another one. Brought the burger but didn’t bring the fries… 6. We asked for a manager, which we saw three walking around, and not one of them came to speak to us. We asked our server why they had not come to speak to us and he stated they were just coming off break. BREAK! On a Saturday night!!! ALLTHREEOFTHEM! 7. We told our server we weren’t paying full price for this terrible service. He was apologetic but he took 20 minutes to bring us our modified check. When he did, he had taken the turkey burger off but had charged us for the turkey sandwich that no one from our table even ordered. So then he had to take that back and modify that. Ten freaking dollars is all they took off our meal! 8. He then gave us our receipt and said«there is a survey on here, please let them know about our service.» Just checked the receipt and there is no survey… WORSTSERVICE I HAVEEVERHAD! And I don’t even hold the server responsible. This was entirely on management. They should be ashamed that they are even a company. (Oh, and on a final note. The bathrooms were egregious! Every single toilet in the men’s room was stuffed with toilet paper and feces. And my cousin said that there was even blood on one of the toilets in the female bathroom.)

I went to this Dave and Buster’s during a date so it was a completely random experience. We came on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and was able to avoid the kid stampede that everyone complains about. Regardless, I found this to be a decent establishment. They are clearly catering to the downtown crowd as it was a weird mixture of wedding venue, after work drink bar, and kiddy playground. It is so expensive to even play games(thank god I did not pay) but most games were available. We could not ever get to Mario Kart but that’s a favorite so I understand. Anyway, all the games worked except long range basketball which needs to be inflated ASAP. All those balls were flat. Anyway, it was very hard to navigate through this place as an adult, I can’t even imagine what it would be like if I was disabled. Super poor layout. We ended up playing some pool after winning some silly prizes in the game area. The pool area was great; ample seating, very clean, and very quiet. We played two games which I enjoyed immensely but was again not happy that I had to walk across the whole building to use the bathroom. There is seriously one bathroom on the entire floor. Again, just goes back to poor floor planning. There was also one desk where you had to get everything: the pool balls, the game cards, etc. and if the line is long, you are out of luck. Just seems like they need to rethink how this place functions as a user. It’s clear that they planned this place based on the space allotted and not on how people can move around and enjoy themselves.

Great service at the bar but NOT the surrounding tables in the bar area. Waitress never came around and, while my wife and I were at the bar, my kids were sitting at one of those tables because they are under 21. I had to flag down the waitress to bring them menus but the menus never arrived. 15 minutes later the bartender did me the favor of taking their order. 20 minutes after that the food arrived and still the waitress never came to my kids’ table.

This place is the best spot, For Worst service ever! The manager was very nice, but man this place needs a visit from corporate. Got here at 2:50 and it’s an hour later and the waitress has still not been to our table. We have to go to the one bartender who cares to show up Raven, She is the only person here doing her job properly. The manager came to take our order, he said he would give it to the server to put in… Which would be fine, if there was a server. He should have came over with a free round and some aps, he should be bussing and waiting tables, bar tending, caring. Nice is good but working harder when your staff stinks, is lazy and you have 3 no shows is when leaders should lead. Worst experience ever !!(except raven, the bartender in the game side & Brooke who was a waitress in another section and finally talked to us after being here for an hour and 45 minutes) Finally we ordered food from the bar, because we never saw a waitress. Then a waitress in our section brought us half our order. She gave another table the other half of our order. Then 5 minutes later went and took our food off their table and tried to reserve it to us!!! She said «I don’t think they picked at it». We said no thanks we didn’t want it any more and She said they didn’t even start eating it yet. So gross! I was so excited to come, but more excited to leave! We all left full… of disappointment & hunger I wish undercover boss would visit this Trainwreck and fix this god awful mess. The one star is for Raven, like Davy Crockett. She is one great soldier in a losing war. No one here cares. If you decide to visit this turd, eat and drink first. Positives are the gamerooms good & the pool tables look nice.

We were quoted to wait 30 minutes for a table then ended up waiting an hour and a half. We were there for a friends birthday and this was very disappointing. Birthday server never told the person happy birthday even after they told the waiter it was their birthday. Waiter took 15 minutes just to take our payment. Would not recommend this location!

Worst run D&B I’ve ever been to. Bartender more interested in getting his bar set for the evening than acknowledging my existence. Very poor culture among staff. No one smiling. No one happy to see a customer. I will say this, the gals at the redemption both were helpful and friendly. This place needs a new GM and a completely new staff. Bad experience.

Went after 8pm for a friends birthday. There were still tons of kids there and it was not like other places that clear kids out after a certain time. We started with dinner which was a mistake all around. The drinks for the table took a half hour(45 minutes for mine). One entrée was never brought out and they brought out the wrong dish for me. The server only came to check on us every 20 minutes and by the time we could try to ask for correct food, it wasn’t even worth it. The server didn’t even seem to care that these issues were happening. When my fiancé asked for napkins and condiments for his burger, he was given a dirty look. You would think the restaurant was slammed with this crappy service but it was about 20% full with plenty of servers on staff. Save the time and frustration and pick somewhere else.

Worst service ever. Wasn’t acknowledged until 40 mins later. Ice cold food along with staff members with nasty attitudes equals a horrible experience! I will never come back to the downtown location. Not to mention a bartender thought it was a great idea to rip off the plastics of a bottle with her teeth. Unsanitary!

Too many kids. WAY too many kids. I get that they want to let loose and have fun, really I do. The games at this place are very fun so to an extent, I don’t blame mom and dad for bringing them all over to have fun but jeez, this is what Chuck E. Cheeses and Go Bananas are for. I thought D&B was advertised for adults only what with the bar conveniently placed at the center of the arcade. Whatever. The games were very fun. Good luck trying to find a chance to play some of them without someone snatching it from you in a split second. It doesn’t help that the power card system is a little confusing at first as well. The food was not bad. Just some standard bar food. No real problems there, just the copious amount of kids running amok in every direction. Felt like I was walking down State street on a busy weekend.

Dave & Bust. I went to D&B for a friend’s birthday celebration on a Saturday night. As an aside, this is not an adults-only place and there were lots of kids. I can’t believe that they were charging cover later at night(after 10 pm I think). We didn’t have a reservation for dinner and it was a 2 – 2.5 hour wait for a party of about 14. Once we got seated, I understood why it took so long. Everything takes forever. Our meal took 2+ hours. It took over 45 minutes to get some of our food and even longer to get drinks. Only half the table ended up getting water and it took a long time to get napkins and silverware. I thought the food was just bad. We ordered the Triple Play and Chicken Quesadilla appetizers to share for our main course as the portions are huge. The Triple Play consisted of mozzarella sticks, chicken wings and some loaded potato-like option. The chicken wings were cold and not crispy and there was no ranch sauce. The potatoes were very oily but at least they were hot. The mozzarella sticks were lukewarm but edible. We left a lot of it on the plate. We didn’t even get our Chicken Quesadillas but at least they brought the drinks. It looked like others at our table had missing food too and there were a few issues with the drinks. Aside from good company, the only redeeming part of the meal was that the waitress remained friendly and apologetic(if anything, she appeared embarrassed too). She comped the entire table’s drinks but it was hard to repair the damage. It was just a bad experience and I won’t go back.

Super nice staff! Very clean and good beer selection! I’m not a super game bar person, but I definitely had a fun time playing Fruit Ninja… even if that meant the sensations of rug burns on hands afterwards

This is only my 3rd time visiting a D&B. The first time was in Ohio. From what I recall, that one was twice the size as this one. More games and more space to navigate yourself throughout the building. Thankfully on a Sunday afternoon it wasn’t extremely busy. The staff here are somewhat drab, however when you are too busy enjoying the games and the company, you don’t really notice. Until the games begin to malfunction. Particularly the air hockey machine. It took about 30 of my credits. It never realesed the air. I had to find a service attendant and he was very standoffish. But he did put our credits back on. Even though we did not order food, I saw the dishes other people had. Your typical bar food, but everything looked delicious! Such a great place for adults to feel like a kid again. I imagine its a cool place to be to watch a game or hang out after work. Love it.

I had a great time, which makes the low reviews I read confusing. Most arcades have an assortment of loud/obnoxious kids and the occasional broken game. So if that’s what you experienced it’s par for the course! I went on a Wednesday night; the food was good(she had the salmon with mash and spinach; I had the bacon wrapped steak medallions with shrimp and fries.) An assortment of managers came by to check on us(which is a nice touch) and our waitress was cool. As for drinks, we sampled the sangria(aight), the painkiller(meh), the Walk the Plank(loved it) and the Zombie(meh.) They have these combos that give you food along with a game card, so after we got full we went to the arcade. Our food purchase yielded a $ 10 card. While it’s not enough for 2 people, we made the stretch work b/c on Wednesday it’s half off all the games. During the weekend $ 10 won’t last more than 30 minutes, so plan accordingly. I’ll give them mad props for getting rid of tickets and putting all the perks you earn on your game card… I’m all about being environmentally sound. I’d go back for sure

We had a company dinner here. I wasn’t sure what they were going to serve us, but I wasn’t surprised when it was sliders, taco salad fixing and wings. What I was surprised with was the next day when both my husband and I were both feeling ill. Upstairs it was another excuse of a childhood gambling ring. Yep Iphone aps that have been over emphasized to large size — Candy Crunch, really? And all the ticketing games. UGH. So much damn noise. I am not a fan.

I was looking for a place to hangout with friends and ended up at this cool and fun place, D&B because one of my friends had a free parking credit for this place. Wasn’t sure about ordering food here but wanted to try, Why not? We Ordered a few dished and the top 2 of my favorites are«Mountain ‘O Nachos» the spicy beef, melted queso and jalapenos were such a great combination. «The Lawnmower» salad was amazingly delicious, serve with your choice of dressing. Wasn’t crazy about burger her The portion of food is super big here so make sure you don’t over order. 4 of us ordered 3 dishes and that was more than enough.
