Diamond Tattoo

I got a tattoo here from Nestor. He’s young but, very talented! When I turned 21, I decided I want to get a heather tattoo down my side. I still have to get it finished but before just picking a random place, I did my research. I went to about 3 places all with in the Logan Square/​Humboldt Park area and I found this place to be the least expensive. The other places I went to all quoted my about $ 400– $ 500 and I don’t have kind of money. I went to Diamond and talked to Nestor. He is super sweet and a really nice guy! His work is amazing, I always get compliments on my tattoo. It really is beautiful. When I went to Diamond I told Nestor I wanted the tattoo done today and he convinced me to wait 2 days and he’ d draw me some ideas out. I left displeased and went back 2 days later; It was like he read my mind! Heather flowers are shrubs, so they’re a little harder to draw. All the other tattoo artist had convinced me to get rid of the bush part and focus on the flowers. They said «I can draw something up for you right now. Gimme 30 mins.» I didn’t feel comfortable with them changing MY tattoo and not wanting to listen to MY ideas. Nestor took everything I said into consideration and I have never been more pleased! I love looking in the mirror and just staring at my tattoo. It’s gorgeous! I also took my friend there. She got a piercing done by Nestor again. She got 2 cartilage piercings and it was only $ 25! I’m telling you this place really is a «diamond» in the rough! Passing by, it’s kind of hard to notice (I rode my bike there and couldn’t find it the first time). If you pass it up, you will regret it! Nestor is extremely professional and one of the sweetest guys around!!!
