This is the place to go if Cai is packed and if you live walking distance away, like I do. The service is horrid. Truly horrible. The place itself is dirty and the dim sum and main dishes are just ok. It’s usually about 50% out of a 100. It’s extremely greasy and lacking taste. Honestly this place is like a last resort, can’t find parking in Chinatown, Cai is packed and so is Dolo type place to eat. Like last resort.

Not trying to be bias, but the service itself is truly horrendous, and the servers really feel like don’t want to serve people. If you can pass the bad services and sometimes the long wait time, the food is pretty good.

This place is filthy. I found cockroach on my dim sum!!! The staffs and owner at this restaurant is always unfriendly and has bad service but for parking convenience I kind of suck it up. The experience I had was extreme. Took my parents to dim sum. Asked for the check and start packing my left overs then I FOUND A COCKROACH in the Shui Mai steamer!!! I told the owner and she apologized and commented that’s is unavoidable. WHAT?! Never again I will go back.

Came here for lunch after the Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown cuz all of the restaurants in Chinatown were packed. The friend I was with comes here often with his family and we were not disappointed! The food was prompt and hit the spot on a freezing Sunday afternoon. Personally would recommend the Siu Mai(it was huge!) and the chicken«paws»(feet) which were super tender and fell off the bone(knuckles?). Wasn’t super impressed with the BBQ Pork crêpe, but didn’t expect much anyways. Go for shrimp or beef ‘crepes’. My friends enjoyed the deep fried taro and the turnip cakes, which were both pretty on point. Good solid option if you want a calmer quieter ambience than dim sum restaurants in Chinatown during busy hours. We had good experience with the service unlike some other guests. Regardless, if service is your reason for giving this place one or two stars, I’m gonna have to say that you probably don’t understand the authentic Chinese food scene(at least at non upscale places).

The solo sad star is for the really really bad service. We’ve been here numerous times, and from our experiences we are aware that there’s little to no service after you place your order. We still love to come here for the food. However today’s service is at an all time low. We waited 30 minutes for our check and doggy bag. After another 10 minutes we decided to raid the container cabinet ourselves while the staff watched us as they ate lunch behind the counter. We will still endure the wait for everything in the name of the food. But please, you guys need to step up on your service. Good luck.

My kind of food served by my people. Service was never an issue for me but then again I speak Cantonese so makes it easier. Ordered some good old dim sum and it was on par with most decent places I’ve eaten it at. The prices were great considering all the other places I’ve eaten at in town were expensive. I would go back for sure. Located in Chinatown.

Great food and reasonably priced! I’ve been here for dinner many of times and have enjoyed quite a big selection of their menu items. My kids and i like the beef with the flat wide noodles. The spicy fried tofu(Japanese style) is the best in town. The wonton soup and sticky rice are a must try too. They do have a small bakery at the front of the restaurant with a small selection of pastries.

I really like this spot. Service could use a little help but Im pretty good about overlooking that because if I need something I’ll usually just get up and GOGETIT.lol.Im not one to sit and wait. So maybe the waitress was on her way or MAYBESHEWASN’T.Idk.Anyway, the dim sum is really good here. I thoroughly enjoy dining here whenever I come in which is maybe four times a year ATMOST. But this is my spot on that strip. So far I havent been disappointed and will say GOFORIT!!! Parking can be an issue though fyi. But you can usually find street parking nearby.

Never again. The WORST service ever. Our waitress was no where to be found so we had to get other waitresses’ attention to assist us and they were so rude about it in helping us. The only thing good about this place is how quickly the food came out. As soon as we ordered, our food came out immediately and they were still hot. The egg custard bun was not hot drippy like it should be. Cai’s were way better. The shrimp crêpe was actually the best I had in awhile. They don’t skip out on the shrimps and they were jumbo even in the shrimp egg rolls. The congee with minced beef and preserved egg was the most plainest congee I’ve ever tasted… HK Style Milk tea was pretty good and they only thing I would ever come back for. So if your looking for a quick bite with really bad service, go right ahead.

Never coming back here again. The rudest dim sum spot in Chinatown. 2 people get seated before my son and I and we were waiting for a long time. Definitely felt like it was on purpose. We just ended up leaving. Also their dim sum is just OK. There are better dim sum places, avoid this one.

Came here for quick dim sum brunch. The menu is pretty small but they do have all the basics. We ordered siu mai, har gow nai wong bao fong zhau(these werent fresh, so we sent them back) dza leung ngau yuk cheung fan ha cheung fan Waitresses speak primarily Cantonese. We also ordered a few other items but I don’t remember, total was about $ 30, which I think is typical for dim sum. The dim sum here is steamed to order, so everything was pretty hot and fresh. They serve dim sum all day and have a chef in the back whom makes them. I will probably come here again, I like the small not so busy — family style vibe this restaurant has.

It’s close to my apt so sometimes I would get dimsum from here. They usually run out of egg tarts by the time I get there even at 11am. Noodles can be pretty greasy so I stay away from those. Their siu mai, bbq pork steamed bun, beef crêpe, Malaysian sponge cake rolls, and congee are what I usually order. I think their buns are okay. Service is rough but they sound nicer when I speak Cantonese to them.

Came here last weekend and was neither blown away nor horridly disappointed. They are located in the same strip as Furama — which I would suggest you go to instead. You most likely won’t get parking in the lot, especially on weekends, but street parking is not too bad to find if you just have patience. The food was simply ok however, my friend took a bad bite into one of the dishes which ruined her entire experience. We all ordered the Hong Kong style milk tea and I will say that Saint’s Anna’s is much better. Overall, just an ok experience.

Not good enough food… And IMPRESSIVETERRIBLESERVICE!!! Trust me you don’t wanna go there if you care even a little bit about service. When I was paying money the waitress gave me a «you owe me a million dollar» face. All servers’ attitude is unbearable. Single most valuable suggestion: DON’T GO! Also, some food are served in a PLASTICBOX! They are even too lazy to take the food out on a plate. I don’t understand what they are thinking at all… l

Purchased a swiss roll cake from this place that was personally bagged by the business owner(lady). It was molded. When called and confronted on the phone, she said I must’ve put it next to hot items so it molded… Funny that mold can grow within 8 hours and it is up to 1 cm wide. :D I say stay away from the bakery of this establishment. Needless to say, wrote a complaint and here goes the picture!!! There’s no expiration labels on their baked goods. Rude behavior and no sense of responsibility. Come at your own risk.

I would probably go with 3.5 stars. We went late afternoon and we ordered a few items. Everything was fresh and tasty. I thought the food had more taste this time and wasn’t too oily. Hope they keep it up.
