Barely three stars. They need to work on their cleanliness, both behind the counter and in the rest of the restaurant. The same person who handled pizza slices from the pizza trays to the oven bare-handed also rang us up, touching credit cards, cash and the register. There isn’t any ambience to this place either – no TV, the tables were dirty and the front door was wide open on a night with 40 degree weather. The buffalo chicken pizza was the only thing worth eating. The vegetarian pizza was limp and watery. The chicken and waffle pizza was greasy and not flavorful. Drinks are by the can. I don’t think even the 20 year me would’ve liked this place, but it is popular. If you’re desperate for pizza, try Dimo’s. It’s relatively inexpensive, and the folks that work there seem friendly.

It’s hard to judge this place, considering 99% of the time you come you’re completely inebriated coming out of the bars in wrigley. It’s pizza, of course it’s amazing at 2am!!! The pros: I will say that the wide variety of choices and creative concoctions give them an extra star. From tomato feta, to Bbq chicken, to Mac and frickin’ cheese! The line also moves pretty fast and there’s a decent sized sitting area, opposed to many other pizza places. The cons: the dough is thicker than I like, and the pizza itself isn’t the best of the best. Like I said above, the topping options are what equals it out. It also can get pretty wild at night because of all the drunk college kids leaving the bars. I saw a fight break out once, and a girl passed out at her table all in the same night…

Came in on a rainy day so they had a bucket and a leaky ceiling… didn’t stop us from ordering the delicious BBQ chicken and a slice of smore pizza. It was pretty deliciously covered in nutella(or an equivalent?), graham crackers, melted marshmallows… MmmMmm good :)

I just wanted a big-ass slice of pizza. It was late and the place we’d normally hit was closed. Unilocal brought me here. I was kinda bummed that they didn’t have a just-regular-olé-pizza option. Pepperoni, perhaps. They had a vegan option, Mac and cheese, some BBQ chicken number. We went with chicken and waffles. I had apprehensions. The first bite was… sweet. That was strange for a piece of pizza. But by bite 3, I was hooked. Delicious. I might have to stop back in next week especially if they have chicken and waffles again.

Pretty good pizza by the slice, and I was a fan of the old-fashioned bottles of coke. It was pretty good prices, but my pizza was burnt on the bottom, which made it a little crunchier than I would have liked. Overall good though, and I would go back.

Really flavorful and unique pizzas! We ordered the largest size with half and half The Buff Chick and the Chicky Chicky Parm Parm, then a 12in Al Pastor. All three were super filling but we could not stop at just one slice! The Buff Chick was mainly a BBQ Chicken and had a nice kick to it and the chess sprinkled on top was super delish, the Chicky Parm had different cheeses and a different sauce so it was a nice flavor change from the Buff Chick. The Al Pastor was the winner in my heart, because it was just so savory, smoky, cheesy, and all around delicious. Will for sure be ordering from here again!

Ordered from Grubhub due to 5 star rating with 225 reviews and the only bad reviews were on delivery time. We got the 20 in pepperoni pizza with a side of crushed peppers; it arrived in the time window GrubHub alotted. It was delivered by bike, so it wasn’t hot, but the delivery driver was extremely kind so it wasn’t seen as too much of a negative. until my friend and I tried it. While massively joyous on the size and mass of the pizza, we were just as equally massively disappointed with the taste. The flavor was akin to some weird chemical taste(I coined it as Pinesol, my friend said it was topsoil). Thinking it might’ve been made with a pan still wet with sanitizer(a place with that high of reviews, it had to be a fluke), we called in about the order. The very kind woman on the phone apologized and offered us a refund or a new pizza — we went with new pizza, because mistakes happen even at 5 star places, right? She said our order is going to the front, and it’d be there in 20 minutes. Awesome!.. or so we thought. An hour passes, and we call again to ask for a straight out refund. A different person answers the call, says the pizza is arriving in five minutes, and we concede to waiting. It does arrive in the five minutes, with the same delivery guy as before — even in the frigid and snowing cold, he was extremely apologetic and kind(Dwayne ‘NotTheRock’ Johnson, you da man). We eat the new pizza. same chemical taste. We call back immediately; the girl who picked up the first time we called answers. We explain how pumped we were to try the five star pizza, but we were just not pleased with how it tastes. She gave us a refund with profuse apologies, no hassle. They also gave us two free brownies in the box with the new pizza — they were bloody *amazing*. I would order just the brownies from this place. The customer service is why I’m giving this place three stars. Maybe going to a different location or eating in will be a different story, but, for the time being, we’re going to stick to pizza paths previously travelled.

Dimos has made a great first impression with us but unfortunately their quality and taste has depreciated gradually over time like my Apple iBook from 2002. The last two times the bottom of the pizza were burnt…(mmm…tasty charcoal?) and the music they play is so loud and hard to enjoy my burnt pizza as they assault our ears. We come all the way from Michigan so dining in is the only option we have…

Coming from NYC it is hard to find good pizza in Chicago that is not deep dish. If you are hungry late night this is the place to go. It is also great anytime of day as you can order by the slice. They manage to serve huge slices that can stand on their own with a crispy crust. They have anything from cheese to pulled pork and even vegan options covering every palate. The staff is ALWAYS fun and helpful and even gave us a whole pie they made an extra of for free.

My guess is this place does the majority of their business after 10pm. They serve up big, New York style pizza slices designed to soak up any booze in your stomach after an evening at the bars. Some of the pies in the window did look sad like they’d been sitting there awhile… but I opted for one that looked fresher, and it was delightful after a few moments warming up in the pizza oven. While you don’t usually select a counter-service restaurant for their service, the service here was friendly and playful as well, a nice touch.

Probably the best pizza place I have ever been to. 13 minutes was all I needed. Next time I go back to Chicago, I will return. I had the mac and cheese slice as well as… I can’t remember, but I am booking tickets out of EWR as we speak to refresh my memory. Check out the menu online and you’ll see things like«Pumpkin Pie» slice and«Chicken ‘n Waffles» slice. The list goes on. Two slices were $ 8 and worth it. The negative reviews seem to be in regards to the service, I guess I lucked out. It wasn’t dead at all in here the Saturday night that I went, but not full. They asked me for my order before I even walked in all the way.

Holy scrumptious delicious amazing perfect pizza! After searching for a late night delivery pizza and dealing with rude people, we found a place! The girl on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. I asked for extra cheese and sauce and she assured me that it didn’t need any and boy was she right! We ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was so delicious. Chicago pizza, is heaven. We are totally ordering from here again tonight!

Really struggling to understand the four-star Unilocal rating. I ate here yesterday(Halloween 2015), and the pizza was so salty it was nearly inedible. Among the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The door was wide open on a 50 degree rainy day, and it was freezing and damp inside. The only reason for a second star is the friendly, quick service.

Very disappointed. It’s a Wednesday night, order goes in on Grub Hub at 7:30 pm estimated delivery time 8:40 pm then that changed to 9:10 but pizza shows up at 9:50pm. Why you ask? They«got busy» said the flustered girl when I called asking wtf happened and that they only had 1 delivery biker for the night. I guess the other guy called off. Ok first of all what’s wrong with the managers fingers? You only have 2 delivery bikers? Like everyday? You can’t pick up your phone and call someone in? Oh, that’s right… it got busy. The pizza is a whole other story. Clearly it’d been sitting there since we actually ordered it then they decided to «reheat» it but they burned it. I don’t mind getting a cold pizza I have an oven but a burnt pizza I can’t fix. So then I call back omg. Now I’m waiting for a fresh pizza while huffing and puffing and it’s 10:15 pm now. I’m not saying I would never order from here again because I know I will. I’ve had good pizza from here which is why my hopes are always so high but it’s a hit or miss with this place.

I’ve been here before and it was great. When I came last week, it was awful. Both times I got the Mac & Cheese pizza. My slice was had macaroni pasta and shredded cheese that only half melted onto the pasta. No melty goodness, no cheesy delight, I ran to the counter in hopes to save my bite. I told the friendly cashier lady how disappointed I was and showed her a picture of other people’s pics of M&C pizza on Unilocal… done right… so she could let the pizza maker know that he was doing a poor job of making an eeeeeeaasy pizza.

One of my favorite pizza places in Chicago. The toppings are creative and delicious. You can grab a few pieces and go or eat them at the communal picnic tables. The macaroni pizza is amazing, of course, but I also like the ones with who-knows-what on them. They are like explosions of flavor.

I ordered the special for the day and it was a Mexican slice. You can tell from the uploaded picture that it was kind of a lot for a slice of pizza. I love creativity but this pizza was all over the place! I rather eat a Mexican dish for the amount I paid. I think their usual slices would have been the better option. The cashier was very friendly and the seating looked spacious.

The smaller BYOB Wrigleyville Dimo’s is amazing. A much better post-Metro alternative than McDonald’s or Taco Bell. For some reason, this location has overcooked the crust of three pizzas I’ve ordered. So they lose a star… but I’ll probably be back enough to have them make it up to me with delicious and quirky pizzas.

Yesterday was Dimo’s birthday aka $ 1 slices. Not a bad way to end the night! I had the chicken bacon ranch and a jalapeño popper-style slice. Both were pretty great, but probably a lot better when inebriated.

LOVEDIMOS!!! People are great, and the food is AMAZING!!! Any kind of flavor you think of, they probably have here. Here are the must try flavor toppings: Mac and Cheese(classic) Philly Cheese Steak BBQ Chicken Chicken and Waffle All sound weird and out of place right? But it works! The crust is also the perfect consistency. The perfect crunch to soft. If you plan on going late in the evening, try to get there before the bars let out. Otherwise you will be waiting in a line, surrounded by intoxicated people.
