My son takes drum lessons with Marshall for 2 months now and he loves it. He’s learned a lot. Marshall enjoys teaching music and motivates his students. He’s also flexible with his schedule. It’s clear that he loves what he does. My son will continue to take his lessons at Drum Chicago.

I have been taking lessons from Marshall for 9 years (beginning when I was five) and have always found my lessons relaxed yet instructive. Over the course of these years I have become proficient in many styles including rock, jazz, bossa nova, funk, etc. I have also learned the techniques of world percussion instruments such as the conga, djembe, and dumbek. These have all helped not only to further my understanding of my instrument but also to have a deeper appreciation of all forms of music. Marshall is an enthusiastic teacher who makes all of the lessons fun while informative. I highly recccomend Drum Chicago.
