Their morning service is very fast and efficient. People are friendly too. I’d recommend when craving Dunkin’ for a grab and go before heading into work.

This DD used to be horrible few years ago. They have definitely changed! The staff is SOMUCH nicer and overall everything seems like they got their act together.

the 2 dudes working in here were legit awesome. friendly and welcoming, and having a kick ass time doing their job. I work a door down from Starbucks but will forever go here instead now, bc of them.

Ordered a chicken salad sandwich to go, for lunch. The person who took my order did so quite belligerently. The rest of the staff were conducting their conversation by shouting and yelling so loudly, the person who prepared my order had to call me twice before I heard him. Walked a couple of blocks to sit near the river and eat, not more than 5 minutes’ walk. When I unwrapped the sandwich, the chicken salad was warm! Like it had been sitting near a toaster or heat lamp. Inedible, had to throw it away rather than risk salmonella. Avoid this location!

I’ve been there three times in the past two weeks and all three times my order was messed up and I had to go back. Two of the times I had to go back twice because they messed up the second time. Mistakes happen but when you factor in the rude, unprofessional, and disinterested staff it’s too much. I will never go back.

I’m already a fan of DD, but this one is the best I’ve been to in the city. They are friendly, it’s not to crowed except for some very brief surges after the Green Line lets-out. They even give your coffee a quick stir for the cream and sugar… which I rarely/never see.

I would never normally give a Dunkin Donuts a 5-star rating, on principle — but this one had one of the most friendly, focused staff I’ve ever encountered, really proving that having great employees can make all the difference! Will return!

Very friendly and upbeat attitude of employees. They always remember what we order and sure to ask if we want the same. Better than most Dunkin Donuts I’ve been to because they get the order right are fast and friendly.

Dunkin Donuts — Your mileage will vary. This one is near me and I frequent it on weekends. I will say that I have noticed increased crowds lately(warmer weather?) and the service, including the stock, has improved. However, some days will be better than others. I totally agree with the other reviewer who commented on the variable closing hours. The operators of this franchise do not necessarily follow the hours posted on the front door. I know I have seen others want to get in when they were closing — before the hours posted — and they were turned away. All in all, it will really depend on the people behind the counter how your experience will be.

This place always closes 2(sometimes 3!) hours before what is posted on the hours of operation on the front door. Apparently the employees have an agreement with the corporate office that if there hasn’t been a customer in over 1.5 hours, they can close up shop. This is understanding in the wintertime but really annoying in the summertime when you want to grab an ice cream cone. Honestly, the employees are just lazy and take advantage of this policy. One time, around 6 pm, I was down the street(on my way to BR) and saw a couple leaving the store. I thought, «Great, they’re actually still open.» I walk in there literally one minute later, and they say they are closing due to the above mentioned policy. Unbelievable. Two stars for the huge scoop of ice cream they give you(big enough for two people). That is… if you can catch this place open.

So after some discussion my gf and I agreed there are definitely«good» Dunkin Donuts and«bad» Dunkin Donuts in the Chicago area. Good meaning that reliably we get good coffee(e.g. not burnt, caff/decaf, etc)… bad meaning that they, more often than not, seem to get something ‘not right’ or just plain wrong. This Dunkin Donuts is the one on my way to work so I stop in there every morning and definitely can second what another review stated — great and fast in the morning. Four people behind the counter and every one of them helping out and never miss a beat or chance to say hello, thanks, etc… frankly I think on the service-level this is my favorite Dunkin to date. My only knock is the same that I experience with any Dunkin or Non-Dunkin place… I’m a decaf-drinker so invariably I end up with burnt coffee from time to time.

Disparity Alert: This DD on a Wednesday morning? Four behind the counter, one doing the food prep, two getting my drink/other stuff, one taking my money, all shouting«GOODMORNING!» and«THANKS! HAVE A GREATDAY, MA’AM!», off I go in under three minutes. This DD on a Saturday morning? One behind the counter taking my money and grabbing my coffee, one fetching everything else. Slowly. Nary a «please» or «thanks» in the bunch and off I go in under seven. I recommend the weekdays.

I hit up this DD for ice coffee or a bagel on occasion. The breakfast bagels are awful, I actually dry heave thinking of them. The donut holes are very good. The service is usually pretty friendly and fast. I do think a couple of the employees are smoking the green stuff, because they are clearly stoned. Maybe they are just extremely confused and suffering from allergies. I don’t mind repeating my order 8 times as long as people laugh at my jokes, so it’s all good.

Just about every Dunkin Donuts tends to be the same. This is my go to Dunkin Donuts since it’s right down the street from where I live. In a pinch, I’ll grab some donuts if I haven’t figured out breakfast plans or I’ll get a latte when a coffee craving comes on. The donuts here are the typical fare. They’re nothing spectacular, but they hit the spot for sugar and pastry goodness. The lattes are decent and cheap. I always get my french vanilla latte when the mood strikes. During the fall, I’ll pick up a gingerbread latte, a seasonal splurge for me. This Dunkin Donuts has a Baskin Robbins counter too. The ice cream is decent, but always tempting for me. Who can pass by a Oreo ice cream without drooling? In general, it’s your average Dunkin Donuts mainly serving the CTA workers and other workforce around the intersection. The Dunkin Donuts staff is a lowpoint here. Whenever I’m here, it feels like I’m inconveniencing them by wanting a donut or coffee. I hate when food service employees make me feel like I the customer am a burden to them. They tend to smile, but you have a general sense of just pissing them off for being there because you’re taking away from their kvetching time. I guess that’s standard fare for a Dunkin Donuts.
