I got lost biking today and wound up at this cute harbor. It was a great place to get lost because they had racks to park my bike and a little store that sold water and peanuts. The view of the puddle, «inland sea», «Great Lake», whatever you want to call it, is absolutely stunning. I never imagined water could be so blue without a little help from lady clairol. The harbor is located along the lake trail so it is easy to bike to, once you realize you are on the bike trail.(I didn’t have a particular destination in mind today, but this was south of where I wanted to be). There is a cool view of the ferris wheel at navy pier and you can look at the boats that are docked. Some have naughty names, so shield your eyes! I like. I’ll make a pitstop here again if i ever go south instead of north!

Not sure what I’m supposed to rate regarding the boat harbor. I don’t own a boat, but from what I can tell there were boats there and they look like they were doing okay :) It’s a little tricky to find, but just get dropped off at Randolph and North Lake Shore Drive. There was a hot dog stand and a restaurant which is nice since some of the boat cruises taking off from DuSable Harbor don’t have food on board.
