Does anyone know where Juliana went?

This place is very nice. Good music, friendly staff, and affordable men’s haircuts. Eddy was my hair professional. He did my hair, gave great conversation, and helped me feel right at home. Definitely give this place a shot. $ 30 is a good price for this area.

I opened a Unilocal account just to rave about what a great salon this is. I’ve been coming here for quite some time now. I get my No-​Chip manicure done here religiously every 2 weeks and I absolutely love it!!! I also get my hair cut there and John is amazing. I have long hair and he does a fantastic job keeping it looking good without sacrificing too much length. I pretty much go there for everything beauty related and they’ve never let me down!

Margarita’s and Manicure’s anyone? This was a Spa event that takes place every last Wednesday. I headed over there with a bunch of my girlfriends and we had an AWESOME time. Service was great, Margarita’s were delicious and Appetizers were scrumptious. I even did a little shopping in between my mani, pedi, waxing, facial and make-​up. It was nice to get pampered while hanging out with the girls. Can’t wait to do this again.

This place is very pretentious for what it is. The salon is nice but the ownership is not. I guess your experience will vary depending on your stylist, but it’s always been kind of empty in there.

The owner called, apologized, and offered me the same treatment for standard pricing. I’m so glad I gave this place a second chance. Michelle does great work and the location is so convenient. With the great price, this place may be my new «regular» nail spot.

I went back to Dynamic on Division only to find that Lina is no longer at this location (they opened another salon elsewhere). I had another stylist a couple of times and just was not happy either time. I left both times with splotches of color on my neck and face from her not applying it carefully enough (or caring/​noticing when it happened). The cut was just ok, and not worth the price. She didn’t spend a lot of time before the cut to determine what I wanted, and I felt like she didn’t have much advice or expertise to share with me on styles that would work for me, as I had really appreciated about Lina. I guess lesson learned for me — my first great experience was thanks to Lina and I’m now on the hunt for another great salon in the area…

Forgot to update my review — I had my wedding party «done» at Dynamic. The owner, Michelle, was a great assistant in setting up the trial, the schedule, and was kind and courteous to my ladies and girls. Lina did my hair and let me be a nutty bride and mess up what she thought looked good into what I thought looked good. They also provided flowers for us to put in our hairstyles, as well as food and drink for everyone — really tasty chicken sandwiches. Not everyone loved their hair, not for the lacking effort in pleasing them — I just think wedding hair is a hard one to achieve greatness in. People should just go with their usual style and shove a flower in and spray. Anyway. Dynamic was great and I’d suggest them to any group needing sprucing or styling.

Um, best eyebrows ever after going to this place. Yes it took the stylist (stylist?) 20 minutes, and yes it was significantly pricier than I would normally pay (25 bucks… as opposed to 7 to 10), but it was worth it! My friend would not stop raving. It was like they’d been painted on – in a good way.

Mika is amazing with waxing and very nice. I wouldn’t see anyone else.
waxing prices are normal. Not cheap, but I really don’t want to risk a cut-​rate bikini wax! :)
The only other service I have ever had there was one mani/​pedi. Marginal, but WAY over-​priced for the quality.

I was sitting in my chair just as Holly was finishing blow-​drying my hair, thinking about how I had a good enough experience to write my first Unilocal review… probably 4 stars. Then I went to go pay, and the receptionist said, «That’ll be… $ 110.»
I made the appointment yesterday on a whim as I was walking past and asked how much highlights would be. The receptionist yesterday said, «They start at $ 65, and since your hair is short, it’ll be $ 65.» So when today’s receptionist, Melissa, said that I owed $ 110 I mentioned that I was told yesterday my highlights would be $ 65. She replied, «See, what she (Holly) did was charged you $ 85 for the highlights and $ 25 to blow-​dry,» as if this explained at ALL why the price of my highlights wasn’t $ 65.
At that point I figured it wasn’t worth arguing (plus, I’m just not very confrontational), paid, and left. It isn’t the extra $ 20 that is the problem, it’s the fact that either Holly charged me more than she should have, or yesterday’s receptionist was mistaken about the price of the service. Either way — lame.
My hair looks nice and Holly was very friendly… just make sure you get an accurate quote if you’re wondering what you’ll be paying.
Final note: only cash for tips, so make sure you have some.

I wandered into Dynamic in February 2007 off the street, desparate for a haircut and new stylist. That was when I was introduced to Juliana. I will never let anyone else cut my hair again. I just tell her to do what she wants, and she always makes me look stylish and hip. Great gal, reasonable prices and a hip, comfy atmosphere keep me coming back to Dynamic.

Yeah I’m a guy and could probably just go to a Barber but the Prices are fair and the place is quite convenient.

I received a mani/​pedi gift here. The pedicure area is nice and calming, but I agree with the other review that the nail table is cramped. The girl who did my nails was great (Esmerelda) and the products are all very high quality and nicely presented. Overall it was a great experience!

Stopped in to get my nails done during a lunch hour… just a little treat that I probably should not indulge in. Well, definitely not here anyway!
The nail table was so cramped I could barely move and they were in a hallway that was dark. The girl that did my nails tried to sell me a bunch of stuff FOR MY HAIR. Ummm, I’m hear to get my nails did, gal… just do ‘em, I don’t need a sales job through the whole thing. I just wanna relax and get prettified and not look like im a full time dishwasher (I am not).
The salon is sort of dingey and overpriced.

This is the place I always get my hair done. Every body is very friendly and the prices, while not cheap, are within most peoples budgets. Every time I come out of there I get complements on my hair. They also have a spa downstairs I believe but I have never tried it. They also have a nice banter going on between each other and they don’t make you feel as if you have to participate in conversations just because your getting your hair done… hmm that reminds me it’s time to get my layers redone.
