Mitch is not the first acupuncturist I have seen, but he is definitely the best and most knowledgeable. When you come out of your first consultation you will be amazed at not only his depth of eastern(and western) medicine but how personalized his approach is. Combining eastern therapies such as traditional acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and herbs with practical advice about other integrated ways to approach the problem(via things you can do at home, such as diet, exercise, myofascial release, etc.), it’s easy to see how invested he is in getting results for his patients. He is not in it to make money off of expensive supplements or trying to force you into frequent visits. Mitch is also a Department Chair at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, so you are going right to the source of knowledge about this fascinating, effective and growing practice. Oh, and did I mention my headaches have basically disappeared?

I’ve had issues with right knee and left ankle for years due to injuries. After playing basketball one weekend, I noticed that both had flared up and an ice pack wasn’t cutting it. I visited Mitch and had an acupuncture treatment and based on his suggestion, took home some Zheng Gu Shui(basically like supercharged Tiger Balm). Two days later there was absolutely no pain and there hasn’t been each time I’ve played basketball since. If you have any interest in acupuncture or Chinese herbs, Mitch is the man to see.
