Really good chicken not dry at all. Their tortillas is one of the best tortillas I’ve had also they have this pickled red onion. Their salsas red and molcajete aren’t that good. I had to use a homemade salsa

The best adobado grilled chicken I’ve ever had! I have eaten a whole chicken by myself because it’s just that good. Tuesdays-Thursdays they have a deal where you buy a whole chicken meal(includes rice, beans, tortillas, salsa and onions) and you get a half chicken free. Good stuff.

Oh my goodness this place really hit the spot. The chicken was packed with flavor, it was juicy and tender inside and the outside had a slight crisp to it. I must admit the white meat pieces were dry. I loved the salsas it came with and the rice and beans were good as well. Just thinking about this place makes me want to go back.

As I entered and sat myself, I was completely ignored so I thought this is going to be interesting. To my surprise, the waitress came from the kitchen to greet with with stale chips and a variety of salas(this place is better known for take out). There were no menus so the waitress made a suggestion and I took it; I had a four piece dinner with rice and beans. Man oh man! If you want charbroiled chicken, these guys are the kings of it!!! The food and flavor was amazing. Definitely top restaurant in my book! Except the horchata, it needs a little sugar.

Pollo real is located on 31st in Little Village, 2 blocks east of Pulaski Rd. On a busy work night, I can rely on Pollo Real to deliver me a delicious meal right to my home, extremely fast. I called at 8:15pm(3−25−15) and placed my order as I arrived home, my food was delivered at 8:37pm. Now thats fast delivery! Of course, they deliver within the community but you can also dine in, they have plenty of space. They have different specials and today(wednesday) is buy a whole grilled marinated chicken and get a half chicken for free. If you order the combo, for 5.00 more, you will get huge rice and bean portion along with a pack of tortillas. The chicken is so juicy and is adobado meaning it has been marinated and spices have been added to the chicken before it is placed on the grill. If you dine in, parking is available via street parking. As of one month ago, credit cards are NO longer being accepted for deliveries. For dine in, credit cards are accepted.

My brother recommended the restaurant to me since I felt like some chicken. I thought chicken is chicken, it all taste the same. But, boy was I wrong. The taste was unique and amazing. It was empty in there, but they did have a lot of deliveries. I’m glad they do because it Little Village all they deliver is pizza. I think… Lol The tortillas could be a different brand, and the beans could have more bacon. But the price makes it all worth it. Great sauces btw.

If you’re looking for a fresh, tasty, bountiful meal for under ten dollars; you found it here. I ordered the #4 chicken meal. It was tender and well marinated. The two types of salsa that comes with each meal adds plenty of flavor. My meal came with a stack of tortillas. The chicken I ordered comes with a seared jalapeño for extra flavor!

El pollo excelente pero se me hace deshonesto que ordenes un pollo entero en mi caso ordene dos pollos para delivery y resulta que les falto a cada uno de los pollos una pechuga … No se me hace justo llame y sólo pudieron decir mil disculpas

I write this review with great hesitation but this place is amazing!!! Wonderful people with great tasting chicken. Very limited menu but these people stick to what they know. There’s never really a wait and the place is pristine and organized. I have been to other places where there’s a wait or even mass chaos but even though this place is further for us it’s so much easier to deal with. AND they’ll go out of their way to keep you as a customer. THEBEST!

I have this chicken at least 4 times a week. Its by far the best chicken, I recomend the Adobado(marinated). Its estilo Sinaloa, which just means its from theyre state in Mexico. Great family restaurant, definitely a hidden gem.

El Pollo Real saved the evening. There is this place near EPR that, according to their name, serves Italian and Mexican food. I was intrigued and decided to pay them a visit. It turned out to be a big fiasco. We were hungry and looked for the closest place to get a bite. Just across the street appeared EPR. The chicken is good and flavorful. The sides are limited to rice and beans and OK in flavor. Service is nice and helpful. Ahh in Tue, Wed, and Thur they have a special buy 1 full chicken get ½ free(only to go) Why the 4 stars then??? Just because they were there when I needed them the most. It seems that if you have been to one pollo a la parrilla place, you have been to all. EPR, good chicken and service if in the hood.

This place cooks Mexican grilled Chicken, Sinaloa style, which I’m not sure what it means. But you can see the guys there in the kitchen working those grills. I was surprised that it was so busy. Last year I went to Mexico after many years of not going and the one place that used to have this type of grilled chicken was different and their food sucked. I was so sad. I found this place totally by accident because we were stuck in traffic in Little Village area and we were hungry. I was so pleasantly surprised. Food: You basically pick a whole chicken or half a chicken, either«natural» style or «adobado» which means it has seasonings. I don’t see much of a difference, but I like both. Also you order if you want Chicken only or if you want the extras too. The extras are usually two types of salsas, tortillas, onions that are pickled, rice, beans(I think), a grilled jalapeño. I have tried their homemade Flan and I think it is very good too. They also have specials on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday where if you order a whole chicken with sides you get half a chicken free, something like that. Location: Tag Team needed! It is hard to find parking around here so make sure you have a partner when coming here. One who can stay in the car and hopefully find parking and one who can go in and order or pick up the order. It is basically a small place, not really a restaurant, you can eat at the counters at the sides of the wall I guess, but people are usually just there waiting for the chicken. It’s really a pick-up location. They have delivery also. Cons: Well, I really have no cons, but maybe there are things you should look out for. I think their English might be limited, I have only ever spoken Spanish here and that’s all I have heard spoken here, so I don’t know how well their English is here. Also, this place has always been busy, even when I went on Monday to get the special, it was busy! As a result of them being busy, they might run out of either one type of chicken or another(natural or seasoned) and sometimes they might run out of other things, like the flan. They are fast at making the order because they are practically cooking for future customers that will arrive, but even then, sometimes they run out and they will tell you if you will have to wait, maybe like 20 minutes. Also, we have been here a few times, but I think there is one cook here whom I don’t like how he cooks the chicken so much, it seems to happen when he is the only cooking at the grills and I think he works with the heat too high, so the chicken gets more charred on the outside. That only happened a couple of times, but my mom noticed it too. The other guys are good though. Other than that, I really like this place and I’m so happy I don’t have to go to Mexico to find this type of chicken again! Yay!
