If there was a ‘zero’ or ‘minus’ rating, it would apply to my order last night or better put 12:20a today. Stupid me ordered rib tips and a couple of tacos via grub hub. Let me sat the tips were just warmed over beef of some kind with sauce that look and tasted like a cross between ragu, ketchup, and a splash of some old BBQ sauce. The rib tips dinner is truly not fit to be served to a dog. Side tacos ordered meat felt like chewing on tiny rocks. If I had a choice of eating here again, I would not if it would save my life. This place should be shut down immediately! This is truly an ’ eat at your own risk’ venue!

It took like 15 minutes to waitress took my order I order cosillas de res was not meat on it just bones and fat beans rice and salad

Margarita, piña colada and cantarito drinks was ok never any of the 3 waitress get back and see evrething was ok o if I need someting else

I’ve ordered from this place so much its practically on my speed dial. Hands down the best Tacos you can get in the area. Food is always great and so is the Horchata. Never had any problems with deliveries. Looks like a hole in the wall but those are usually the places with the best food!

Food was crap! Even though the delivery wasn’t too bad (as in didn’t take too long), I ordered a ham skillet and it was so dry and the potatoes were black and burnt. So Gross. In total I ordered two ham skillets and a side of pancakes and had to dish out $ 30 for meals waaay under par.

Took 2 ½ hours to get my food delivered. The food may as well been cooked yesterday it was so cold

I was there last night December 5 about 12pm with 6 more people really nice atmosphere live music we didn’t eat. I ask the price for a bucket of miller light a waitress told me $ 20 so we order 3 buckets we stay there for about 3 hours we went to the register to pay and they charge me $ 75 for 3 buckets of miller ligh $ 15 more I was confused about it and there was a guy before me who was trying to complement one of the ladies at the register I’m an educated person so I walk away but stilling from customers is not ok I will make sure that an Illinois inspector have the chance to go there and experience how they take money out of your wallet. I will never going back and I recommend to double check before you pay your check. For the Illinois liquor administration they don’t card anyone so if you are under age you can buy alcohol there.

What can I say the worst food you can possibly have in your entire life. Thank god I got this meal on groupon which won’t do it any justice at all. This place isn’t even worth a groupon priced bargain deal. I would never want anyone to go through what I’ve just experienced. I ordered 2 tacos and the Alfredo pasta what was I thinking. It came with the most poor excuse of a salad and the garlic bread was disgusting. The tacos dry meat with no flavor with tortillas you’d want to puke. The pasta was horrible and after 2 bites I was done I couldn’t take it. I got it delivered which took 1 hour in anticipation I was in for a real treat yeah right. The packaging was even untidy as the Alfredo sauce was all over the bag. If you are thinking about making this a late night meal please order a cab and go through a McDonald’s drive through. I’ve now warned you what you do from here on out is only on your own wrongful on doing.

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! I ordered a few days ago here and the Delivery was over a hour late. The manager only took off the delivery charge and said that’s enough. Ordered at 1:10pm it didn’t show up till 3:20pm. Food was cold and soggy and the bags were ripped open and the horchata we ordered was spilled inside the bag. NEVER ordering from them again it was my first and last time. Don’t get me wrong I like salt but the tacos and torta were loaded with salt it tasted like. the delivery guy even called me before he got there and was like I just got caught by a train do you still want your food, like wtf I’ve already been waiting this long. I asked is it cold he said no. They need to be taken off of grub hub asap!

Never ever ordering from here again. Ordered via Grub Hub, chocolate milkshake, can of soda, and an Italian sandwich (Italian sub). The location is 15 minutes away from my house. Took them AN HOUR AND A HALF to get here. For a sandwich that requires no cooking. I kept calling the restaurant and all they could tell me is that driver left 20 minutes ago and will be there shortly. this happened 3 times. Absolutely ridiculous not to mention I had to call Grub Hub and have my funds refunded to my credit card. Even after Grub Hub hub canceled my order they still delivered it. again an HOUR AND A HALF later!!! The best part is my milkshake was warm and soupy. And the rest of my order was completely wrong. Would never recommend this place and I certainly will not be ordering from here ever again!

Very low par for Mexican food. The burrito was dry, and the guacamole tasted like it was out of a package. Not only that, they immediately added my phone number to their text marketing, and I’ve gotten quite a few texts from them, even after opting out.
Don’t order from them. There are WAY better places. I won’t make the mistake again.

really dissatisfied. I ordered Caldo de res, Horchata and a mini burrito plate. They sent my Horchata inside a bag along with the soup and guess what? spilled all over! when i called the The restaurant I was on hold for 10 minutes and when she finally came back she asked me if I wanted to place my order! she came back completely forgot i was on hold. after telling her again, she spoke to the chef and the delivery driver and they said my order was fine really? poor service. said i’ll get a credit for the soup when i order again. i think not.

Just ordered off GrubHub. Got my order before the time it said it would come, but the food is VERY sub-​par. I got a steak burrito, which you can tell the meat was cooked and put into a container to sit all day and re-​heat. It was edible, I guess; but nothing I would ever eat again. Also tried a tamale, which was super dry on one end and had to be cut off. The Guac was more onions than anything… I think there was more onion than avocado, which is not appetizing. And the prices are pretty high for such crappy food. Never again, enough said.

Food was not good and unfortunately was cold on top of that. Maybe I caught them on a really bad day? Also I almost called grub hub cause the delivery took nearly 2 hours

My wife and I placed an online order at 7 pm Thursday night, they promised to deliver within an hour which is way to long to start off with .
We called back at 8:30 pm and were told the driver was on his way, at 10 pm my wife called and complained aggressively (where the f### is my order, did you guys #### eat it !) .
Our food was finally delivered at 10:45 pm — but its cool we got a free two liters.
We won’t order from there again.

, the only reason I go here is because it’s close to my house and they have menudo 7 days a week everything else is overpriced and barely average everytime I call for a call in order they tell me 10 minutes and I have to wait an additional 10 minutes

Ordered the food Sunday. After an hour and a half, I called in to see why it was taking so long, delivery time was 45 mins. to an hour. Lady answers and says the driver left, I add «he left an hour and a half ago? my order is 30 minutes late already.» She says she will contact driver and call me back. 15 minutes later, she says he is 10 minutes away. I wait.
20 minutes pass, i call again and refuse the order and explain I want a full refund. She asks «if i give you a discount will you accept the food». I am hungover and know the food will be cold, tacos taste bad reheated. I refuse, she sighs and places me on hold. Comes bak to the phone and says «what if I don’t charge you delivery?» I say «no, i want a full refund». She says sorry and we are done. 10 minutes later, the driver calls that he is outside. WTH?!?

This has to be the worst customer service ever, I order through grub hub and my order was wrong when I called the lady at the restaurant was arguing with me and hung up the phone. I will definitely never order from there again. On top of that the order came late on a Monday night.

They have a tendency to not get your order completely correct but the food still tastes really good! If you are a stickler for precision this is not the place for you. They make mistakes. Food is always yum though.

My boyfriend sister and I ordered good from here one night. While the delivery was in the time frame given, the food was disgusting. I ordered the enchilada dinner, and, being Mexican, I’m not stranger to spice. I almost started choking on how spicy it was. It was extremely spicy but had no flavor whatsoever. The pork burrito tasted like the meat was cooked in beer and the pork was fat chunks rather than meat. My boyfriend said the quesadilla was alright, however, and I ended up eating French fries for dinner because that was the only thing palatable to me.
My advice to anyone looking to buy food from here? Don’t.

I worked late, so that meant my food choices were limited. My boyfriend and I ordered from here through Grubhub around midnight. Grubhub kept sending us updates about our order. Our estimated delivery time was around 1 A.M. It said it was out for delivery around 12:30 AM. We were excited that we’d get the food earlier than planned. It meant we could eat and go to sleep sooner. El Ranchito apparently had other plans. Our status stayed like that for about an hour.
We ended up contacting Grubhub. They had to refund our money as the food was still sitting in the restaurant. They were apparently just going to deliver the food after they closed at 2AM… Uhhh not okay. They did end up bringing it after closing time, which was such an inconvenience. We had to stay up and wait for it. The food wasn’t very good once we got it. It was pretty cold by then. I was a little nervous about eating my tacos since they had been sitting out for so long, especially since they had sour cream on them.
All in all, I wouldn’t order from here again.
