Been going here as needed since they opened. I’ve had massage therapy and accupuncture. Heidi is a miracle worker and I trust anyone she brings on board as well. I’m going to start going again soon for prenatal massage.

I went here for two things — Acupuncture and a massage. I give this place three stars mostly because the atmosphere was not relaxing at all. The woman who gave me the acupuncture had her toddlers running around. While she was in the private treatment room with me her kids came whining for their mom and she had to leave to tend to them mid treatment. It really ruined the experience for me. But I went back for a massage with someone else, but left feeling worse than I did before I had the acupuncture and felt like I got cheated out of $ 100.
I recommend going to Lincoln Square Acupuncture where they offer a sliding scale rate and really pay attention to your needs and concerns. Even though they have a community healing room, it is way more relaxing than having small children running around while you have needles in your body.

Great massage, great treatment, they really know what they are doing. I went there because I was getting migraines and I naturally wanted to get rid them. There massage is relaxing but also intense, meaning they will get rid of your pain but it will be intense or painful during the massage. It will feel great afterwards. The only reason why it’s 4 stars instead of 5, is the price. Great service but you will pay for it. A massage is $ 85 plus tip which gets close to $ 100. A lot for a 60 minute massage. If I could afford going weekly, I would have continued to go. Great place and I highly recommend Heather

Community Acupuncture on Thursday is the best! Libby and Sonora have gotten me & my family through winter without getting any of the major bugs going through everyones houses. highly recommended!

I was visiting Chicago for a long weekend to celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends and I wanted a massage because I’ve been working way too hard in NYC, where I am a massage therapist as well. I did some research, as I gravitate towards people with a private practice rather than a spa setting, but the way that Elemental Health presented their therapists piqued my interest! On the website, each therapist/​practitioner has a bio and even a link to their own website, which makes me think that Elemental Health appreciates each as an individual! So I gave Elemental Health a call, and after a little phone tag I was able to procure an appointment for early afternoon on New Year’s Eve. I was a little concerned that I’d be woozy and post-​massage tired, hence not up for a party, but that was not the case with Mara! Mara practices Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), which I had never experienced singularly in a session before, and I was very pleased with my experience. She worked to treat my specific issues, and I came out of an hour session feeling much more at ease in my body. As someone who does physical labor (truly) all day, I really appreciated her attention to detail, going deeply where necessary but not in excess. I love deep tissue work, overall, but I know that sometimes it can be too much– the body can only change a little at a time, neurologically and therefore muscularly. This session was just right and got me on track for vacation, and ready to return to work when the time came. I recommend Mara’s work for anyone who is an athlete, working with an injury, or interested in maintaining optimum alignment in their body. You’d also like Mara’s work if you have a high level of awareness in your body and notice when things «feel off.» Regular sessions of NMT are recommended, so now I just have to find a practitioner in my city! Heidi is Amazing! I am a stylist who has been in pain up until I found her! The place is very clean and relaxing as well– But seriously– she is the best!

Love it so far. Started going for massages to address chronic shoulder/​neck pain and now am getting acupuncture for sacrum and nerve pain. Heidi is good and nice and easy to talk to about your issues.
Masseuses and treatments are highly personal choices but I really dig what they do here.
Plus, they are very affordable. Highly Recommended.

Heidi is absolutely stellar! My wife and I go as often as we can for the massage and acupuncture combo. The whole place is so relaxing and soothing that you won’t want to leave. She also makes herbal tinctures depending on your ailment. You must give Heidi a try. You’ll be hooked if you do!

Heidi is great! I had some seriously tight and painful knots in my trapezius and 5 days after seeing her they are still gone. Heidi does a form of deep tissue that is super relaxing and while deep, is more effective than painful. You can tell that she finds each knot and is driven to work it out while still providing a thoroughly balanced and very relaxing massage. Heidi has a very easy-​going and calm demeanor and her space is so clean and zen-​like. After the massage I felt so relaxed but also revitalized and invigorated because my muscles felt like they were re-​oxygenated. I only went for 1 hour and she accomplished this so I bet a 90 minute would be amazing!
Highly recommend! Prices are very reasonable for her experience, the quality of her massage and the clean and modern ambience.

I’m looking forward to my massage tomorrow. I did 1.5 hours my first time and it was amazing. I’m a bit afraid of acupuncture but I’m going to let Heidi do it. I trust her and highly recommend her.

I have been going to Heidi for over 10 years and I can honestly say that she is the ONLY massage therapist that I go to! She is great and her place is very cool and comfortable and it’s in a great location and very easy to park. YOU MUST go here! She also does accupunture which I never tried and I’m deathly afraid of needles, but Heidi convinced me to try it and I did and I felt great afterwards. Her prices are great

A massage from Heidi is such a wonderful treat! Her space is serene and beautiful. Parking is easy and I’m still feeling great from her magic touch, even 24 hours later. Her prices are very competitive, plus she’s an animal lover (Boston terriers especially).
