Not happy with this tailor. Took a suit in for cuffs and shorten the jacket for first time I have ever dealt with this business. Unfortunately, the owner is a prima donna and will tell you how he makes suits for some of the Chicago Bulls players. Of course they are earning 7 figure incomes. So does this guy want to really be bothered doing everyday tailoring for the public? No. He has 2 – 3 sewing people who sit in a back room and do the tailoring work you THINK you are paying HIM to do. So, anyway, we pick up the suit coat and take it home [after trying it on] and it tuns out I didn’t see that the 4 buttons on the jacket sleeve look like c___p! One button is 5⁄8 inches below another on one sleeve and on the other sleeve the buttons are too far apart. Looks like a 13-year-old learning how to sew has done this work [no offense to teenagers.] But the part that makes me want to tell you not to go to this guy is the following. I call him and tell him about the workmanship [lack of] and does he say«mea culpa» or show a humble attitude or say«he’s sorry»?? No — he says bring it in. Ok, so we do, and after my wife shows him the buttons, he says«Come back on Monday» ! Like, are you kidding me!!! So I said«No you deliver it to my house on Monday as I am not making a fourth trip to your shop due to your lack of professional oversight of your sewing employees; and we also ask for some partial refund for all this wasted time. But the guy has to pay for the white BMW he’s got parked in front of his shop, so he does not offer a CENT. However he does hand it to a lady who says they will fix it; and then we come back in 45 minutes to pick it up. More wasted time. Don’t go here unless you play b-ball for the Chicago Bulls and can afford to work pay a prima donna to do the work himself and make you a suit. Otherwise you will have some sewing lady or man that he employs do your tailoring; and the owner will still overcharge you! Go to Louis at A-1 Tailor in Evanston or Ji’s Tailor on 3200 block of West Bryn Mawr. Both are polite, skilled and actually appreciate your business — even if you’re not Taj Gibson !

Great place! i brought in a couple of suits to be tailored and they were both done to perfection. Prices are reasonable and their care was second to none. I will continue to use this place for all of my tailoring needs.

This place is a well kept secret. Will not go anywhere else for alterations of both expensive suits or my jeans. They give you the option to keep the jean cuffs, and did a super meticulous job. I am shocked this place has not yet been reviewed, but it is a little out of the way for most city folks not in the northside.
