This place is stuck in a weird strip mall off Western, but what a great selection! Good prices, friendly staff and a fantastic wine selection in particular. The cider selection was not all that stellar, but the rest of the stock was plentiful. Pop in here, it’s worth it!

Love this independent liquor store. I’d much rather give my money to a small business trying to make it than a grocery or discount store. Plus these merchants are so nice and accommodating. They have special ordered from Europe for us, are always willing and wanting to provide what customers request, and stock a huge selection of wines, beers, liquor, mixers, sodas and a few salty snacks. Nice nice people. A true independent experience. We return as often as we can.(Next to Morelo’s — another great independent business!)

Popped in here quickly to buy some beer before heading over to Rub’s for some BBQ(they are BYOB). It was close and convenient and the selection was good enough. They had a decent amount of craft beer, but the cider area left something to be desired. It was basically Angry Orchard, which is good but not all that exciting or different. Perhaps they have more outside of the coolers but I wanted something already chilled. Lots of liquor and wine bottles from which to choose. I took a quick peek at the aisles but lost interest when I couldn’t figure out any rhyme or reason to their display. Some of it made sense, but it wasn’t easy to figure out where the wines I might like would be, so I left with simply a bomber of Arrogant Bastard Ale. Nonetheless, I’d come back if I’m nearby and in a beer bind. FYI — They only accept credit cards for purchases over $ 10.

I dont often find myself tucked in this corner of town but when I do and I need to get some wine or some scotch this is where I go. At some places they just say hello and ask how could they help you to make sure you are buying something and are not just browsing bla bla bla. On more then one occasion I told the people who work here what I am looking for in terms of wine and they wanted to make sure I got a good wine from a good year. If I decide to radically redirect the direction of my life and become a polished wine person this will be one of my first stops before they tell me to leave the store and go to a wine school. :)

The moment i walk into this store the women gave me very unpleasant looks, although I look very young I am of age to buy liquior. She look at me like I was going to steal something, I am really upset with the treatment I got. I was even ask for an id just to be inside the store. I try to crack jokes and be friendly to light her up but I receive harsh feedback Worst experience I will never go back

Used to come here once a week. Never again. Rude man with a woman’s hair cut wouldn’t let me pay with my credit card. DIDN’T EVENCHECKMY I.D.

This is a small place and although you won’t find anything that blows your socks off or any major deals on anything and no they might not have that micro brew your super cool cousin drinks when he’s smoking pot in Oregon, but they do have a good selection of beer and a decent wine offerring. The plus side is that the poeple who work here are really nice, clearly looking to make a go of their business, and they stay out of your hair. They aren’t trying to upsell me on some garbage from Chile or trying to molest me into buying cigars. They just want me to buy my booze and go. A lot of parking, but I suggest you approach from the North. on Western as turning into this lot from the Northbound lanes is a pain.

Nice people, low prices, and a surprisingly good selection of liquor(especially rums). When you first see this place you might not think it’s anything special and the inside isn’t fancy or anything but the value and selection are hard to beat.

Super-nice people, which is mainly why I go here(and I prefer to buy my alcohol at smaller places like this than at grocery stores). Their prices are typical for the area — you can find a bottle of standard well vodka for $ 1 cheaper than at Dominick’s and $ 1 more than at Jewel, for example. Plus they do tastings like at Binney’s. Who says no to free Fat Tire? Not me.
